I checked Internet and WowHead. They both list numerous places to fish them. Nope. They are not there, Greater Sagefish, but no Sunscale Salmon. Where are they? Really appreciate help.
The catch rate is really low especially if your fishing skill is lower…always use the best rod and lure…
It takes a while, WPL and Feralas is where I got mine
So just keep fishing and eventually I’ll get one.

are you fishing only at night? because they are sun fish. they get replaced by nightfins at night

It’s one of the things that I really enjoy about classic is stuff like this with the fishing where you can only catch certain fish at certain times I started in TBC and that was one of the things that I was really into when I first started was fishing and cooking

I’ve leveled Fishing on many characters in Classic & TBCC and have never had an issue. The best place is Twin Colossals in Feralas around 50.0, 14.6. Best drop rate is mid morning to 6pm Server Time.

I leveled fishing from 225-300 in WPL and caught 112 Sunscale Salmon
Just need to watch out for all the elite mobs that patrol, otherwise spot is ok but I had the same success in WPL as I did there
