I haven’t leveled up a character in a long time. Now I unlocked some allied races and am levying them up. But professions seems to have changed. It use to be when you obtained the required level of a recipe in a profession the recipe would show up for sale at an instructor.
I leveled up blacksmithing and when I when to get some new recipes from an instructors, the cupboard was bare … what changes have been made and how do you get new recipes these days?
I’m just leveling starting at 20 so no expansion just starting from the beginning. I was checking the Blacksmithing trainers in Orgrimmar. I’m at level 20 blacksmith and there are recipes that should be showing up, but nothing.
Saru Steelfur in the burning Anvil valley of honor. Click the box for unlearned recipes to see if maybe you just don’t have the skill level for them yet.
Well that’s what I’m trying to find out because it wasn’t that way before but like I say it’s been a long time. I’m talking about things like a copper maul. Also no recipe for spiced bread in the cooking trainer. that used to be the first way to start leveling up.
Yep I there now, I’m level 20. Copper maul requires 15, the trainer in Orgrimmar has nothing for me. No way to level up. The tab says the recipe is available at “profession trainer”
I recently started a new alt with blacksmithing, so I can confirm that mace is still in the game. I have the recipe for it that I got from the profession trainer in Stormwind.
You see at the top of your profession where it says “Unlearned” click that then click the item you want to learn, it usually tells you the source either below or if its star ranked the first star gives you details.
Yeah ok so I know that. I’m with a trainer right now in Orgrimmar. been to a number of them. I am a level 20 blacksmith. The unlearned tab says a Copper Maul requires level 15, and that it’s available from profession trainer. The only thing any profession trainer offers me is Cataclysm Blacksmithing when I get to level 78.
