Surely if there was a massive update to anniversary realms requiring downtime and breaking the game, there are patch notes right?!? Did Naxx get a tuning pass? Did we nerf warriors? Change the price of chronoboons again? WHAT HAPPENED?
They’re beta-testing the minimum level of service that people will still subscribe to.
LoL!
Blizz happened. This is sadly what we deal with constantly, its not terribly new if you have been playing on Era for any time.
Guess we find out when servers come up!
“We finished the job in 1 hour vs 8 hours and they think we should provide patch notes as well? FFS”
I’ll give you a quick rundown of the patch notes:
- We removed all items and macros from your action bars, have fun.
- Dual spec no longer works for some people, only for a few lucky individuals.
Ah yeah, and now unitscan addons are completely broken too, great stuff.
“Same old” is not a good reasoning for anything 2 decades old. It would make sense if the issues were just add-ons, but dual talents, macros, bags, and most other Blizz QoL improvements have been broken. But at least the damage meter works!
lol, way to see the bright side in it.
The whole thing is just depressing in a way because its only a matter of time before the game stops being Era and turns into some morph of retail.
It isn’t two decades old. We are playing a game that was rebuilt for the 2019 launch and is using a Legion client. The addons and macros you use today wouldn’t even work in the real Vanilla which had a different API. Just sayin
But honestly patch day screwups are par for the course for WoW. This is nothing compared to patch day problems of the past. Even with a PTR things would go live that were very broken.
Naxx tuning pass?? lmao
they’ve given up on patch notes a long time ago ![]()
Blizzard is a small indie company. They are trying cut them some slack.
