I currently play on Stormrage as alliance and all I see in chat, dungeons, and raids is just total hate and rudeness people go so far out of there way just to be rude to each other and no one wants to work as a team in dungeons or raids which just makes another obstacle ontop of the dungeon or raid it self and I just keep thinking to myself “is this just how the game is now or am I looking in the wrong places?” just seems like no one wants to help eachother at all and it really sucks and makes me not want to play.

Unfortunately the people you’re looking for are only going to be found in guilds, and evne then it’s going to be a search. This game was designed to pit players against one another, and it’s only getting worse.

I’m also on stormrage, they are all in guilds.
What is it your looking for, and what time frame do you run?
People don’t like hearing this on this forum. If your asking for strangers to be nice and patient with with you… your better off quitting wow and playing FF14. If i make a mistake in wow… i get yelled at then kicked. If i make a mistake in ff14, people help me learn the fight. I caused a trial to wipe twice because i didn’t know the fight. People helped me learn the fight and when it was over… for some reason they all gave there accommodation despite me wiping the group twice.

I dont run anything because people are just so toxic, Like Ive gotten kicked out of normal RDF for not pulling enough as a tank because i was new to tanking with that class and i said that, so i dont even want to try raiding or M+

It’s niceness to a point.
As soon as you get to Savage people become as cutthroat.
- I do exist. 2. So do others. 3. It’s not the game, it’s the people. Toxic players are endemic to gaming because toxic people are endemic to humanity. I feel you, especially as my demographic is not represented in mmorpgs very much. But they do exist, just like the block and mute buttons exist. Try to remember that like a fart, rude mean people are just very tiny molecules with a big smelly foot print. Every one else is probably cool. Cheer up, person! You’re not alone!

Not on Stormrage… in fact I’m pretty sure it has a rep for rude people doesn’t it? MG might have some weirdness, but if ya look around SW or anywhere else ya can generally find some nice folk.

It’s been this way since vanilla, I’d say vanilla was actually worse. Being in a like minded guild with people does help though.

No it hasent, i played in vanilla and people where very helpful back then, people actually used to come up to random people walking and used to give gold to people for mounts

I got invited to guilds only to be kicked by some douche showing off his epic gear and saying get good. It’s like damn you just invited me for 40 sec then kick me and show off your gear? Had this happen to me like 3x in vanilla. And asking for help good luck, you be spamming trade chat forever.
So many times I asked to do things in vanilla, do you have this item or that item? Are you attuned for MC? Well no, no one will invite me to a helpful guild so lol.
I never had that happen to me maybe cuz i had friends in vanilla

I pugged AQ, ZG, and MC, but it was bad people were always rude. And back then I was on dial up and 40 man raids were a lagfest lol.
At least now we have LFD and better ways to communicate.
