We’ve seen a lot of dragon/drake mounts. Some really cool. Some just reskins of others. Now a netherdrake coming to DF. Which, cool, but for any of you who farmed out the originals man that was a lot of work (or felt like it).
To the title. Remember flying around Odin’s house and all of those great looking storm drakes were hanging out. Lightning all around them.
Could we convince a few of them to ride with us?
They have a little unexplained conclave in Thaldraszus.
Odyn ain’t really a fan of the Aspect dragons. Hence why he took his ball and went home. Making his own dragons. Because Odyns a bit of a butt
They were deemed evil because Raznegath and her followers.
Im not sure about this. There was at least a couple friendly/neutral dragons we worked.
Who would say storm drakes are evil? The aspects?
I must admit i haven’t kept up with lore as closely as I did pre-WoD but i dont remember anything tying the storm drakes to Razagath.
There is absolutely nothing for lore other than their mere existence.
Yeah they were always a little odd. They aren’t protodrakes so clearly they’re part of the Titan-powered gang, but also obviously not one of the known flights. They were never really explained.
Wait until 10.1.5, time rift vendor items should surprise you. Also we’ll be able to use “old world” flying mounts outside of dragon isles with events in August.
This is something i think weve all been looking for. Being able to cross old world at up to 500% sustained flught speed would be great.
Talk to the ones hanging out on the mountain range in southern Thaldraszus and let us know how it goes.

I’m talking about drakes. They had to have followed the aspects at some point or they would still be unevolved protodrakes like Iridikron amd the rest of thr primalist forces.
I know this is all just fantasy and asking for odd wants. I just think it would be a really cool drake skin. We already have crackling lightning on a couple of the noodle dragons from Pandaria, ive just never really been a fan of snake drakes from asian cultures as compared to the bulky dark ages style of drake.
Not to mention, id completely forego the idea of a storm drake if theyd actually give us a full dragon as a mount (call it friend, war partner, whatever you want.) Some of us have been playing WoW since vanilla and weve had a few drake mounts for 10+ years. Grow up already, i want a big dragon to ride lol…
Panderia ,there are three,two dark and one red you can get .One takes some farming ,red one but doesn’t take long to do.the others quest and island (forgot the name).
