Where are the Innkeeper and Stable Master Icons now?

Since the new UI came out, I am having such a hard time finding the innkeeper in towns which I rarely visit and I can never find the stable masters on my hunters.

Is there a way to add these two tags to our town tracking again? Am I missing something?

With the rest of the minimap icon options (unless that is an ElvUI thing; I haven’t used the Blizzard default user interface since Mists of Pandaria).

Nope, they’re missing.

I am wondering if it’s a checkbox that I haven’t activated.

Just checked out of curiosity, Innkeepers and Stables are indeed missing from the tracking list. They still show for me fine, but I think that’s because I had them enabled before they ā€œcompressedā€ it.

That said, here’s a console command to enable to old tracking window with more options:

/console minimapTrackingShowAll 1

Thank you SO MUCH!! I have no idea how you figured out that command, but it saved me!

This is exactly what I was looking for!

WHY WOULD THEY HIDE SUCH IMPORTANT OPTIONS?!

If you mean the hearthstone icon and the horseshoe icon, they are automatically on the map. At least they are in the Broken Isles.

Perhaps one of your addons is missing with it.

Bit of redundancy, bit of oversight, I’d imagine.

The option to track digsites is on the map now IIRC, to give an example, and I’d wager they probably intended to have some things track by default (like Innkeepers being universal, and Stables being auto-tracked for Hunters) and forgot to actually set them up.

There is definately something wrong with the Tracking screen. My current screen looks like this:

There is no extension available for Townsfolk, where you would click on the stuff you want to see, like tracking digsites, and the flightmasters.

PS: ;I used the console command and tht seems to have put the townsfolk listing back on, so it is obviously some sort of bug.

Me too. Not only have innkeepers and stable masters been removed from the tracking system.

That is not working for me :frowning:

If I recall correctly, it was an intended ā€˜feature’. In theory it does ā€˜smart’ tracking and shows relevant things nearby.

In reality? Well, what you’d expect.

I’m not having an issue with the tracking screen, but I’ll check to see if it’s an addon setting and that may be why.

Unless an addon is interfering, typing it in and then clicking the tracking binoculars should pop up the old menu with all the options. Maybe set it back to 0 and then to 1 again and see if that does anything?
