The pre-patch was supposed to have plagued boxes in Stormwind that turn you into a ghoul. Noone on my server can seem to be able to find them, in fact it’s become a sort of server-wide game.
Why is there not even half the stuff in this pre-patch that Blizzard said there would be?
Retail is a game of broken promises… cross over to the promised land of Naxxramas and Classic WoW. We have a real scourge event.
Because they don’t seem to think that communication is important. They haven’t implemented the plague and have in fact turned it off without telling anyone why, they did in the PTR as well.
This is them being lazy and catering to the 1% of players that still actively play the game. I remember the legion pre-launch, ever since then they haven’t been able to hold a candle to that expac.
It might be a second week thing. Isn’t that how it was for the Wrath prelaunch?
If it’s a second week thing then they have done a MISERABLE job of communicating any details to the playerbase. I tried searching and can’t find anywhere that says that.
I am disappointed. This was the only part of the prepatch I was looking forward to. The Icecrown storyline/dailies are boring.
If it is they have essentially lied to the community by misinforming us. That already is a pretty good sign of a bad expansion given that this is what they did for the entirety of BFA.
It would be better if the crates started to show up slowly, with more of them every day, and the NPCs making comments about them, some foul stench or something.
Then after a week it’s full blown. Turalyon stands outside the gates of Stormwind… “The city must be purged…”
Yes, recycled content is boring. They could of taken their time to produce a legion-like event but instead they decided to rush everything and focus entirely on the main expansion content.
I won’t be surprised if the main expansion content is the same as BFA, while they got rid of artifact power it doesn’t exactly matter when all of the other system flaws and lackluster content is present.
Yet people are complaining about the game lagging at the moment, imagine if they allowed the infecting ghouls to run around now.
They asked if we have phones. Phones communicate. We still don’t have answers. I’m confused.
Of course, that must be it.
I wish they’d use those phones to call some better game developers and offer them jobs.
“Oh hey, some weird crates showed up today I wonder what’s inside?”
They are terrible, just completed them. I just wanted to be a ghoul or fight ghouls in Stormwind. I don’t know why they didn’t include it.
Yea imagine waiting for weeks for the Ghoul event only for the ghoul event to not be active. What a crock of crap. I fully intended to stream the ghoul event today and have a load of fun… instead all I find is nothing… gear that is worse than LFR gear but has a higher item level… time gated bosses that dont have 100 percent drop rates… and no communication.
I’m seriously thinking of asking for yet a second refund for Shadowlands. I’m tired of giving Blizzard a chance to deliver and getting crapped on.
I wouldn’t blame you for getting another refund, this is a major ball drop by Blizzard.
