Maxing out the cypher console makes all the rewards from wq’s 252 ilvl except for trinkets. Those remain capped at 226-236 for some reason. What gives?
I don’t think there are cypher trinkets. Only trinkets that drop from rares whose loot is all level locked.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I have never seen a cypher trinket on any of my chars.
I believe it only affects items marked as Cypher equipment and I don’t think the trinkets have that text on them.
Trinkets and Weapons are the two most valuable in terms of gear upgrade. That’s likely why they aren’t easily accessible through Cypher equipment.
Dormant Alcove gives somewhat better trinkets

but i think the point is, regardless, where are the casual / world content 252 trinkets?
252 isn’t game breaking, (or if it is, that is more of power budget issue) so there isn’t a real good reason not to have them.
I’ve gotten 242 trinkets twice and a 236 one. Shows up on the map as a 226 trinket but then upgrades when I complete the WQ
I’m not sure if there’s a foolproof way to get 252 trinkets in ZM.

they got those pvp trinkets from oribos quest. mine are both 249.
They are world content…have to turn WM on but no one bothers you doing the quest. takes about 20 minutes tops
I guess they didn’t want raiders to have a chance to feel pressured to interact with world quests, because usually when that happens, it’s a trinket! Remember Balance Druids + that mastery one in 9.0?
Ofc they avoid the obvious solution which is to stop making trinkets so crazy.
