Where are all the r.druid threads?

Leading up to this patch I had dozens of discussions with people online, in discord, and on these forums who were saying they were dusting off their r.druid for this season because it was going to be so strong in m+…so where are you guys? I expected more r.druid related discussion.

The changes to Resto, in terms of healing at least, weren’t that big. Mastery scaling was changed, but mechanically it still works like it did before. I think that Resto is in a good spot this season, but I’m just not sure that there is a ton to talk about.

Sure there is. If it were true that a lot of people are playing r.druid right now you would expect to see more r.druid related threads especially since r.druid had such a low representation last season. You would see people asking questions, talking about builds, sharing their experience, etc.

I see plenty of Resto Druid threads here actually. Which other class forum do see with significantly more healer topics compared to here? Which Class forum do you think the Druid class forum should aspire to be more like?

The reality is that in 2025, traditional forums are pretty far down the list in terms of information sharing. Now people watch videos, they read guides, they use reddit and social media. Many people who do post on the forums never venture out of General Discussion, even if it’s a Druid or Healer thread.

I have no expectation for a particular number of rDruid threads, just that I expected more than I saw in the last weeks of season 1 considering the frequency of people that told me they were excited to play rDruid this season in m+. Many of these people told me as much in this druid forum.

I’m not suggesting there’s anything wrong with these forums, I’m calling out the legitimacy of people’s claim that they were going to be maining rDruid this season in m+ because they were so convinced it would be s-tier. It’s still very early but the data will come in and we will see on both accounts, whether it’s more played and if it is s-tier.

I concur. Surprised by lack of threads. I think this more of a forum issue in general though. I noticed a massive decrease in forum activity lately across all topics. Ppl are moving to reddit, discord etc
