I started playing WoW in 2006 and played it fairly consistently for a decade or so. I “quit” in 2016 before Legion came out, and resubbed last December after thinking I was done with this game for good (I guess 7 years is a pretty long break). I’m kind of bummed to see that what was once an OG full pop server with tons of high end raiding guilds, world PvP battles, and queue times to even log in has now been reduced to a “low” population server that feels…well, dead.
I thought about transferring my characters to a Horde megaserver i.e. Area 52 but I can’t bring myself to do it because 1.) I have a lot of sentimental attachment to this server and more important, many of my character names, which are usually already taken elsewhere and 2.) I don’t want to pay the transfer fee lol.
So, where are all the cool/chill guilds at? Bonus points if your guild has a cool or funny name. Not looking to take up a raid roster spot or anything (AOTC is as much as I’d ever want to do and I usually pug or run with various Discord groups i.e. WME anyway since my schedule doesn’t allow me to consistently dedicate time to raiding) but it’d be nice to have folks to talk to in-game as I miss seeing the green guild chat. Or is that pretty much dead and everyone just uses Discord now?
