That might be the wrong phrase. My laptop’s fan is on it’s last leg and I have started to download a new fresh WoW on my hubby’s laptop. I’m would like to copy my add-on’s from my old laptop to the new one but might be overthinking this. I use things like CT-Mod and Rematch (for pet battles, which store all my pb groups) and I know those settings for each one and each character are saved somewhere but I’m not sure where.
Would someone be so kind as to help me out? If I can rescue the “settings” for each one it would save me a world of hurt of having to start completely over. I’m having an absolute meltdown as we all do when we lose this stuff.
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.
I think, but don’t 100% quote me on this, if you can copy over the old addon folder the settings should be saved as well.

Addon setting are in the WTF folder too. Just copy over the Cache, WTF and interface folders.

In your World of Warcraft Folder (then retail or classic (I think)), you should see an Interface folder. That’s all your addons. The settings are saved in the WTF folder, by account, server, and character.

You can actually copy over WoW directory, and everything underneath it, from your current computer to your new computer,
No need to download the game to put it on a different computer. It doesn’t make windows registry changes and doesn’t really need to be “installed”. A simple copy will do.
