Do you feel bad when you get an epic that you plan on sharding for crystals, after you’ve told the other players you “need” it? IDK…

No, I don’t. It’s a known wall to leveling the profession. You need those epics.
I’d probably do it in front of them if they get uppity. Just because someone can trade something to another person entitlement comes to life when you decline to give an item to someone else.

If you are pugging, shard away. In fact, don’t even loot the items so they get mailed to you and your group doesn’t know what you got.
If you are running with your raid or M+ team, you should probably share loot because it helps you in the long run.

I shard it at the end of the run. It dropped for me, it’s mine to do with how I see fit.

No. I’m not going to choose the classes I run with based on me DE’ing items. Sorry for your loss, but it dropped for me

Pretend you don’t understand the language everyone else is speaking. Then shard it.
Back when we rolled for loot you’d get some greedy people who wanted everything, so when they’d say something like “I need it more than you” when I won an item I’d offer up a trade for some item they won. They’d never go for it, they just wanted it all.
Yea, that is a terrible and toxic move. You should share loot with those that need it instead of prioritizing DE. Especially during new content…bad move man.

I don’t ask other people for their epics for DE purposes. Problem solved.(and yes, one if my 3 60’s is an enchanter–this toon just DE’s/gathers herbs for my other two toon’s professions).
If the players nice I trade it. There is no reason not to unless there is *** hattery involved in which case shard it in front of them.
That’s what ML was for but people didn’t like it.
I guess the enchanter could offer to sell it to them for the cost of a shard though.
Personal loot is personal loot. If I need crystals I’ll usually shard them in M0, M+ is a different story though.
