When will you purchase 10.0?

Just curious. I pre-ordered SL in Ja. 2020. I loved the HS toy and the transmog set. Not sure what I’m doing for 10.0 so I’m interested to hear how folks are approaching it.

That datamined Deluxe mount sounds massive.

Same. I’ve not really seen any other games that have caught my attention lately, so I’ll stick with what I know for a while longer.

The moment the epic edition comes out for like $80 I will buy it instantly

Then when the $120 collectors edition comes out I’ll buy it too

So eventually $200 I’ll be spending

Probably never tbh. BFA was trash. I had hope for SL. Turns out to be pretty much a second flop.

Not a ton of faith in current leadership

This is the first xpack I’m on the fence for. One thing that is make or break for me is the PvP gearing system. Anything like SL and that’s a nope from me dawg.

Cause you’ll be paid back the moment you redeem the collectors edition

So really you’re missing an opportunity to have $80 be given back to you in the future

$80 can be spent anything you want

I’m waiting this time. I pre-ordered BFA and SL and highly regret it.

This next expansion has been in development during all the terrible drama, strikes, firings, etc.

I don’t expect the next expansion to be groundbreaking. Sorry to be negative. To much stuff going on at blizzard.

But only on the Blizzard store, and you’re buying two copies of the game.

Basically, you’re buying yourself an $80 gift card while buying the same game twice. I’m not understanding the up side.

$80 was back then TBC deluxe edition

Or 4 wow tokens

Or a new transmog/mount bundle

It pays itself in the future

I hope I can hold off entirely. I wouldn’t call this game Trash but I would call it… less worth it for lack of a better word(s). Never say never though.

Sure that’s fair, I just don’t understand why you would buy the game twice and put $80 in your Blizzard balance.

You could buy the game once, save $80 or add it later if you want.

I’m just not getting why you would do it this way.

I mean, I get that you can then buy more Blizzard stuff at a future point, but you could also keep the $80 in your pocket and use it on literally anything, even a later Blizzard purchase if you want.

Edit: I should note I’ve never bought a Collector’s Edition. Not from lack of desire; they are pretty cool. Previously I couldn’t really afford them, and now that I can and don’t have the previous ones, I don’t see the value in having just one. :woman_shrugging:

There would have to be an absurd amount of improvments across the board …

Not just another expac…maybe if they do 50% discount at some point…but with the world opening up again slowly now theres more options to spend time on than a dungeon/raid game…

Previous collectors editions I paid for didn’t arrive in time for launch

For legion as an example, while everyone was playing at launch, I wasn’t able to till my package came in that next day

That’s where the Digital purchase comes in
