When Will We Be Able To Use Other Flying Mounts?

Make them work so they function as a Dragonriding mount, and maybe each mount has a special ability or something, This would be the Cats Pajamas, The bees knees if you will

I want to use my engineering mount so bad

I agree. I miss some of my mounts. I mean I can run around on the ground with them, but they’d be a lot cooler soaring the skies.

Pretty sure adding a special ability to every mount in the game specifically for dragonriding would take a lot of time. They can’t even keep the things already in the game working properly, they shouldn’t try to add more right now.

Probably get to use it in whatever new zone we get in 10.1 since I don’t think there’s any room left on the dragon isles to “discover.” Which means we’ll probably be somewhere else and DR will be disabled.

Now that I’ve gotten used to it, I find dragon riding far superior to flying mounts and taxis. I miss it in other zones. It’s like going from the pilot’s seat in an F-14 to a dollar store drone. I would like to use old mounts as dragon riding mounts though.

I’d love to have this and the Classic Wrath DK proto drake mount. Even if it was just skins.

Since it’s called Dragon Riding for a reason then they should let ALL dragon mounts be able to be used as there are a lot of dragon mounts that came before this Xpac.

Iirc they made a statement that we will eventually be able to use non-Dragonflying mounts in the Dragon Isles later on down the line.

Yeah im not seeing the reasoning behind the hold up at this point. My hope is that it will be added in season 2.

Im not against Dragonriding but sometimes I just want to pop into flight form, position myself, tap my autorun keybind, and step away for a minute.

That’s quite literally the exact same thing for me lmao. Also being able to idle and/or log out while hovering is nice too, if you need to AFK for a while or something.

Yep. I play in war mode 100% of the time and being able to just pop up for a second to step away is very clutch.

Stealth is pretty clutch too but there are seemingly a lot of mobs in DF with non-damaging AoE abilities that force me out of stealth.
