What’s your guess and reason for when the TBC pre patch drops?.

November 31st, and not a day later.
Already saw on the stream TBC launches in Sep so prepatch is right around corner.

Roadmap doesn’t say end of winter, it shows it starting at the start of winter. Also, if it did start at the end of spring, that would mean Phase 6 will last like 8 months and they have never had a classic patch last even half that length.
Take a look at where the roadmap has P5/AQ at - “the start of autumn”, yet we got it midsummer. The roadmap is a vague guesstimate and not a hard-set thing. We’re likely to get Naxx right around end of autumn with TBC prepatch midwinter to end of winter.
Whatever it turns out to be, we already know they are going to drop the ball one way or another.

What is January?
That seems reasonably fair. It is the reason they chose november for the official launch though. But didn’t OG Vanilla last like 3 years?

I know the OP asked about pre-patch which doesn’t matter to me as long as the folk that wanted fresh 1-60 get ample time for phase 6/Naxx.
So I guess counting back from mid-Jan 2026 for TBC Anniversary then pre-patch mid-Dec?
The icon changed to green in the launcher. I give it two weeks post-naxx release. They dont seem to be doing anything right this time around. Bunch of numpties.
