personally, I like the fact they are keeping a lot hidden and I hope it continues throughout the season. hopefully some new epic questlines

That’s literally the point…
The more important question is when is the server going live? Currently I’m working on the assumption that it goes live at 3pm western time, but that is just an assumption, and I would love to have an announcement.

They responded to this on twitter by saying they’re not saying what’s going to be in SOD.
Either play it and find out, or don’t.
I don’t mind them not having a beta/PTR and let us have a chance to discover everything (for the first couple hours lol), however I do hope they make more announcements before the date that will have to deal with server/faction plans so people can hopefully make a good choice from day 1 and not have to reroll on another server or faction.
I’d also like to hear a bit more about any changes to professions. So far it does seem like we’re getting some new lower level profession gear that requires that profession to wear, but would be nice to hear more details to avoid having to start over with a new profession if new things that make it super worth it we didn’t know. But once again, maybe Blizz wants us to “discover” that for ourselves lol.

As far as classic has gone, they have always brought out a server list before launch. Hardcore only had a few days’ notice though, so it’s hard to say if we’ll get a lot of time or not. I expect a server list any day now.
You can read the manga if you do want to find out what will happen next week.

No, they can keep lots secret like questlines etc etc. They should share some basic rules like mounts/dual spec etc etc before people decide to try it or not. Fundamental gameplay is a huge decision for many players.

Being Thanksgiving and going into the weekend I expect we will not hear anything about servers before Monday at the soonest.
All I wanna know is the exact time SoD becomes available so I can plan accordingly.
