If there is evidence, and it can be sent to blizz, they MIGHT be able to ban him, days and times of chat logs could help, but issue is evidence is so easily faked these days.
It is really sick what he was doing, and just because i have been accused of such does not mean I cannot see when someone ACTUALLY doing it, it makes me sick.
I already put them on ignore long ago, but sadly as I don’t hang around the community as much as i used to, not much i can do to “help the fight against house imperium”
But please do not start harassing their members, those that prove themselves to know what he did and still defend him sure, dislike them, but i have spoken with people who literally joined the guild knowing nothing of what happened and were harassed not even knowing in the slight what was going on.
Blizz REALLY should do something, but there is prob little they can do without chat log dates for them to investigate, not much they can do on just word alone…
Also saw a screenshot of something someone said to Mortis. This was a quote from it: “Someone should find out where he lives and do something.”
Not sure what the exact context was, but if it’s what it implies than it’s not okay to threaten anyone like this. Even people like Mortis. Not going to say who it was, just saw it in a screen cap.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but I have enormous doubts that anything will be done about this by the GM’s, I don’t think it’s really within Blizzard’s interests at this point. I could be wrong so don’t take my word for it. If you wanna keep reporting him when you notice him / hear of him doing the wrong thing, by all means. Report him.
Refrain from threatening the guy though, keep things civil no matter how much of a scumbag he allegedly is. If he is threatened or harassed, that gives him grounds to go to Blizzard as the victim.
Yeah. I feel like if the GM didn’t come in right when certain people started threatening to come to Mortis’s home (Even though I doubt they know where he lives) and harm him, I think they would have at the very least try and figure out what was going on then.
I’ve never seen them with it on. Lol. But I have seen Mortis with PVP on. I sent a Horde character down to try and hurt him, but he was surrounded and I got ganked bad. I knew I was going to die, but I wanted him to know no one liked him around. XD
Darn. Maybe one day I’ll find him pvp flagged. He can bring his friends and i can bring mine and just have a good old fight. Can’t hurt him irl but I sure as heck can make his wow life hell.

My prior statement still stands. If he’s actively engaging in illegal acts and have proof to back up your allegations, then report it to the proper authorities who handle these sorts of claims. Not a company like Blizzard. All you’d be doing if you pushed him off server is to sweep it under the rug and pretending it doesn’t exist.
You want to get rid of Mortis in regards to his extremely horrible actions? Here’s what you do.
Don’t report it to Blizzard, there’s a high chance they won’t do anything. Take any evidence you have and contact the authorities. Given that what he’s doing is a federal crime and it’s unlikely anyone knows what state he’s in take what you’ve got to the FBI.
They will likely start their own investigations and they will reach out to Blizzard for information, information which Blizzard will then give them and the case will move forward from there.
Banning or silencing Mortis won’t stop him. He will simply move on to another game and continue acting the way he does with no lasting repercussions. The only way you get rid of him for good, is if you get the authorities onto him, because not only will they likely lock him up for a lengthy period of time, but if he does by some miracle get out? He’ll be forbidden from using a computer, thus preventing him from going after anyone else in an online game.
Which I did in the past. People have done in the past. Only to be ignored by Blizzard. I definitely discourage spamming him, as that makes him vindicated however.
I’m sure the only thing we can do is hope someone with all the evidence or as much as we need can report him to the authorities. He’ll be put in jail and we’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone. I just hate how now if younger people we’re all friends with play we have to help police who they rp with incase things get worse for them… We’re supposed to feel safe playing a game sure little annoyances happen. But now it feels like THE PEOPLE have to walk in egg shells for this one dude.
