When will it end?

Tonight, there was a riot on Moon Guard around a guild known as House Imperium. This guild has openly supported a person who’d have intercourse with kids and has asked for nude imagery of children. This is a federal crime, not to mention totally immoral.

But when people speak up, Mortis (their GM), silences them by abusing Blizzard’s TOS. He’ll sabatoge rp events, bully and harass others with no consequence despite people reporting him, but there’s no consequence. Blizz has been more than happy to silence users who try to warn kids about him. At the time, I was a kid when I did a lot of my speaking up to other kids and even I was silenced by Mortis.

But Blizz does nothing. It scares me, I’ve been an adult for 4 months now thereabouts but it disturbs me as if I were still a minor. If Blizz allows this guild to fester and exist, how many more like Imperium exist?

And when will it end Blizz? How many more people will suffer at this guild’s hands before you step up and uphold your community guidelines? I love WoW. I wouldn’t be making this post if I didn’t. I have so many good memories here, but Blizz? This isn’t right. This is harming minors in your community, it’s subjecting them to trauma that no one should go through.

How many more Blizz? When is someone going to say, ‘Enough is enough’ and do something? Because Moon Guard has stated that they don’t want people like that on the realm. It happens time and time again and each time, our voices are ignored. So when? When is stuff going to be fixed and we as rpers and those who are kids can feel safe in the realm that we call home again?

It won’t. A GM was called in and told everyone to disperse and that if they kept bothering him they would be “punished without further warning.” Absolutely sickening they let people get away with this.

If it makes you feel any better, the fact that half of the server showed up to kick them out of town shows they are not welcome anywhere. No matter what happens when they cry to a GM, the community will continue to police itself.

Which is saddening, I agree. I figured that I should at least say something though. As someone who was recently a minor, I can’t stand idly by all this. I love this game, I truly do, but this is something I can’t be silent on.

This isn’t the first time Mortis has done this on an online game. On SWTOR he’s done similar actions with his own guild.

But yes, this guy should be banned from WoW for grooming kids in his guild. He’s a serious scum bag and I’m so glad someone finally got the balls to call him out on this.

The fact that a GM defended him is also sickening which also makes me wonder if this GM even knows that stuff that he does in his guilds discord chat.

I hadn’t any clue he did this outside of WoW. It breaks my heart to hear that not even people outside of this game are safe from him. I didn’t want to make this post mind you, but I felt like something had to be done. I adore Blizzard still, flaws and all. They can be so much better than this, I just wish that they were.

One thing I wanted to do was RP as a human named ‘Chris Hansen’ and then get another one of my friends to RP an under aged character in order to bait Mortis into a Dateline situation. XD

That does definitely sound amusing! But yes, if you deem what I say worth the time, please tell others. I don’t want any fame or glory on it, I just want kids to be safe here. This should be a game for everyone, and it should be safe for everyone as well, provided they don’t hurt people.

People like Mortis deserve to burn in hell for what he’s doing and has already done. I hope one day his name and memory can be purged forever from Moonguard. It’s people like him that ruin the server.

While I hate Mortis for his doings, I also believe I should be respectful in how I approach this. I don’t approve of manipulating people, especially kids but unfortunately, reporting Mortis has done nothing.
