When will high elf fans stop demanding more?

Throw in some high elf customisations and it’s a done deal.

I role play as a Void Silver Covenant elf. In other words, a High Elf who later joined Alleria’s faction, but holds ties to the Silver Covenant. I think we should give up on being wholly High Elves, but a merger of the two aesthetics. First generation Void Elves can look purple, but second generation can be high elves etc. I don’t mind the voice lines, or the lectures. Humans be humans.

Most high elves fans accepted the new deal. You can count everyone on a single hand still complaining it’s not the right elves.

Exactly. Anyone still complaining in 2024 is basically beating the skeleton of a dead horse that’s time has long since past. The High Elf community has accepted years ago Void Elves are the Alliance Elves and look they can appear as High Elves.

Night elves had their home and people burned down, and we spent expansions dealing with the fallout. I’m not sure who would be placated by that.

High Elves already had plenty of story that wasn’t nearly as bad.

Okay it’s not enough people. So what?

And tbh Silver Covenant High Elves had been around one of the longest compared to other Alliance race requests.

Looks at the thread title, looks at OP.

Then why make this thread other than to get mad at things that don’t exist and aren’t happening and garner… what? Weird attention? There’s a phrase for this bro and you’re not gonna like it.

Because some people still don’t think they have enough. They will only be satisfied if Kael’thas returns and tell them that blood elves were a mistake and their race is the only true elf race.

But like you said, they’re supposedly Only a handful of people.

So, why care about them if they that insignificant?

Its not a question of having enough - its question of not having what they asked for.

And they don’t have what they asked for.

they can look like the high elf NPCs. Only difference is the name.

They did not get what they asked for… if you order Hot Fudge Sundae, and get Butterscotch Sundae back - complaints will follow.

Blizzard said from the start they will not add blood elves with blue eyes which are essentially what the silver covenant NPCs are. Carbon copy races is not a good concept.

Tauren and High Mountain Tauren - carbon copy races… approved by blizzard.

on the same faction yes. with high elves you open a door that might tip the population balance of all players around since blood elves are essentially the sole reason anyone played the red team to begin with. Hell the blood elf RP on my server didn’t even survive the tentacle elves. That is how bad the situation is.

So your argument is that Void Elves are good enough to stand in for High Elves - but the only reason the red team has a population is because Void Elves aren’t a good enough stand in for High Elves for Blood Elves swap?

That’s a bit of a contradiction sir.

I just want to highlight this question. Erevien, answer, if you can, if only for my amusement.

if you put all good looking races on a single faction the one who don’t have them will die. The only reason games like SWTOR don’t suffer this because both Empire and republic got all aliens and humans at the same time.

Void Elves can look like High Elves when selecting the right options… and yet the population divide remains the same. Additionally - if High Elves become an alliance playable race - Horde still has the Blood Elves - so I don’t see the danger.

Even if you were correct… it can be addressed by just giving the Horde more visually appealing races. Simple fix.

There is a reason why Tauren remain the least played race right after gnomes and Pandaren. People want a character that looks appealing for years to come. Most Horde stuff was beyond ugly back in the days which is why we had less then 30% of all players before TBC happened.

Do you have any data you can actually show to prove that?
