they have darkness 70% avoid spell, but we all know it will not help you avoid the big spell that will kill you.
most of people are unlucky and 30% kill them.
make darkness 100% to have a bit survability, bring back dodge blade dance
and buff dh at least 20% more damage.
don’t tell me they have the hunt, a useless 1s cast spell ( a melee class with a cast spell that’s funny) that can be easily dodged and negated.
I didn’t play BFA but I think people like them in the pooper after BFA. Their time this expansion will come but it isn’t now.
When the Hunt doesn’t do an entire Health Bar in a 1 second cast. The direct damage did 12k and the dot portion did 17k to my healer in 6 seconds, most of that he spent stunned.
It’s also a 1.5 minute CD.

The very long 1 second cast (Which teleports you to the target and can be used within someone else’s 1.5 second GCD), which could always be 100% interrupted, dodged and negated because we live in a world where cross CC doesn’t exist

Actually, that’s now how it worked at all. In fact, it required the use of several Cooldowns, ranging from 1-3 minutes and could be stopped, Aimed Shot on it’s own is, and even more so now, a joke. Believe it or not, you also have more survivability than Hunters, more consistent damage while having Convoke, Ret, WW, etc level of burst.
Demon Hunters literally press one button and do more damage with it than most classes who press multiple, and they do it every 1.5 minutes.
Please, keep telling me again how you should blanket do 20% more damage and have more survivability?

If other classes get nerfed and the game slows down they will become better.
Right now they do less damage than a WW with the same survivability, they need all of their BFA defensives that were removed re-added and meta back to 3 min (except blade dance dodge). Dh was a class that was op because of borrowed power (gushing, flame, vers amps etc.) and how slow and damp the meta was.
It would be nice to have hunt get nerfed by like 30% or made unable to crit and then an overall 5% damage buff so we weren’t 100% dependent on the hunt to land kills.

OP we got 2 buffs so far, more will come.
There not going to 20% damage buff lol, we have got the aimed buff and a 5% overall. What we need now is Defensive buffs, they might throw us another 5%, but thats plenty honestly, with some defensives.
As to the other crazy talk in this thread.
The Hunt does not 1 shot, anyone anymore UNLESS, there is drastic modifiers. I have one shot people, with DA, as Veng stacking Mastery, hitting people that had an Orb of Power, but thats SERIOUS modifiers.
Is a ~20k crit possible, yes, but 20k is not 1 shotting anyone with gear. If you don’t have at least 30k+ just stop talking about PVP balance, because you don’t even play. Its also VERY rare for that to happen, and requires buffs from other classes.
The DOT brings up an Interesting point. I’m not Positive but I have a theory of why the Dots damage seems so High.
I think Details is logging the Dot damage, as the actual Dot, as well as 25% of damage done, to the target during the 30 sec window, that gets returned as leech.
As I don’t understand how a 5k over 6 secs dot registers as 20k+ damage. It just doesn’t add up. I would say, its hitting multiple targets but I feel like it’s done the same in Duels.
They have already nerfed the Hunt, so I doubt they will do so again.
