When will blizzard start banning Solo shuffle leavers and griefers?

Something came out about like one person being banned because they were spam joining and leaving keys. Somehow this gave people false hope blizzard actually cares about people griefing the game.

hopefully, I don’t want to be held hostage with groups of baddies who’ll take 1 hour to finish a 25-30 minute dungeon

I hope this doesn’t affect the modus operandi for higher keys next season. I don’t wanna grind out keys for completion and I always make sure the group’s goal is to time.

I’m not even toxic. Earlier this season before any nerfs to Grim Batol we were in a +10 for like 1h20m just wiping at the last boss cause someone died and healer went oom (we had all decided to stick around for completion). I’m definitely not staying around for stuff like that everytime tho without the group explicitly listing themselves as completion. It’s an unreasonable expectation, I don’t even have that much time to play continuously sometimes

Yeah, so, it was always technically against the rules to grief people by doing this but I don’t know if it was ever really enforced, and this recent thing was likely just them bonking jaded/burnt little guys who got spam declined a bit too much, snapped and just app to low keys to leave them.

Naw, you can leave those just fine. Just don’t join keys with the intent to leave immediately to blow up their key. Then again with another group. And again.

I mean it’s hard to have any sort of automated protection for these things. Keys bricked? Report healer. Somebody hearthed after 2 mythic raid boss wipes? Report. Lost a 2v2 or 3v3 with somebody? Report. I think they might bonk people who leave/troll shuffles if it’s often enough but not sure.

Leaving shuffs kind of rare, honestly, outside of like placers where cr doesn’t matter.

It isn’t about people who leave a game or two, but serial leavers, who join with the intent to leave.

I don’t think you would be flagged for leaving a couple here and there when its obvious the group can’t complete the content. This was aimed more towards people leaving intentionally for the purpose of griefing other players, or leaving keys at an unreasonably high rate.
