Is it going to be released right when server is shutdown to deploy the patch, or after the deployment is done? Regardless can’t wait!

Most likely when the servers are shut down. They will post the notes

Nah. They wont post notes right away. Or if they do, they will only be notes about non event things (tunings/fixes/buffs/nerfs).
Honestly, they are keeping this so secret that there is no real hype or excitement. And its a limited time event, so no way to know what we can get or how, unless the limited time is a few months.
Maybe Blizzard won’t for the first day, but Wowhead will be datamining everything they possible can.

Yeah, I get the secretiveness of the event, but a small trailer video that was 30 seconds long would have been nice.
A lot of of people seem to be leery about the .6 with how the Hearthstone anniversary event is going.
They might put up patch notes for general bugfixes but not give away the full event - part of the secretiveness of it probably includes things for the players to discover in the event itself
They’re hoping to capitalize on getting people to renew subs to check out the event without pre telling what it is. But I think it’s gonna have the opposite effect and or less people know about the event because it’s not been pre streamed ahead of time.

Guessing Tuesday when the servers come up, or maybe Wednesday or Thursday.
Have no fear, WoWhead will have articles up probably less than an hour after the servers go up with spoilers.

If Blizzard is smart, a “leak” will appear sometime Monday morning with some information that will go viral and draw people in. But without giving full details. The leak from within.

Why would they make a trailer for an event they want to surprise players with ?
Kind of defeats the purpose of surprise event

You can make a trailer with a few hard facts then leave it as a cliff hanger. A 30 sec video showing as little as a limited fly by and one or two crumbs won’t completely give away everything/systems in an event.

Since I think I read it is a limited time thing for this .6 secret thing, I would guess the last day before whatever it is ends. That will keep it mysterious as to what changed.
