me just a few days ago. I found out from wife wow has a double standard. They told here what she wanted to do was against the rules and band her for a week. She was just doing what she read and heard form this u tube guy. But sense other guy was a u tube guy and very popular. he was allowed to break the rules and he still plays. Yeah that did it for me.

the second time was when they Changed Fire and Brimstone... no more AoE Chaosbolts :'(
That and then Hati, then Teldrassil. So much nostalgia.
I know you can talk to the time woman, but just knowing that it is gone just makes me so damn sad.
I love Sylvanas but why !!!

The drowned thunder lizards outside of Orgrimmar after Cataclysm.

When they took away so much of what made Warlocks cool and gave them to Demon Hunters and Mages.
When Blood DK wasn't a dps spec any longer.
Never forget, never forgive.

When they took away Tier sets.
I don't know if it broke my heart but it really ticked me off: when they removed eyes of the beast in the first great prune. No good reason to remove that spell. It was a lot of fun and flavourful and mostly harmless.
I also got unreasonably mad when they removed hurricane from druids in legion beta. I would still like it back but I am not so mad about that anymore.

This one wasn't so much the game but the people I was playing with. Midway through Wrath I was in a guild that I really loved. We were all in our mid to late 20s, but there was one kid who was like 15. He was sort of emo but I had talked to him privately a lot and it sounded like he had a pretty !@#$ty home life, so the game was his escape from all of that. I had sort of taken him under my wing a bit.
So one night, we're in Ulduar. He wasn't in the raid or on Vent but he was online and talking in guild chat. The GM and Co-GM were just going off on the poor kid, talking mad sh** and just making fun of him non-stop in Vent, and a couple other members sort of half heartedly joined in. Meanwhile everyone was being nice as could be in guild chat to him.
I quit the guild that night when the raid was over, and I was straight up about why. It really upset me, because honestly I thought those guys were better than that.

The only time it will actually break my heart, or actually make me sad is when WoW shuts down. Although I am not a fan of BfA, in fact I greatly dislike it, I still love WoW and all the memories I made. WoW, for better or worse, is my childhood and a big part of my young adult life.
Most of my heartbreaks have come from WoW players themselves rather than the game. For instance, getting tossed to the side from all raiding and endgame groups in my last guild hurt a lot.
When they turned engineering into a joke profession :/
use to be super happy to lvl eng for its good stuff....havent had that in years now..

when they changed feral bear tanking in cata then eventually broke the spec into another.10/30/2018 04:23 PMPosted by TĂșrksMine was when they took away Unholy Death Knight tanking. I'm telling you guys, tanking Unholy in Icecrown Citadel was GLORIOUS! What was the first time you were really heartbroken/disappointed by something WoW did???
Transitioning from Lich King Ret to Cata Ret was pretty jarring for me. I got used to it, but at the time it felt like the developers just told me they hate Ret and now I have to suffer for it.
When a patch made all the bank bags and contents disappear and i had to wait 2 months for a recovery and couldn't remember all the old stuff i had that couldn't be attained again.
They didn't post not to replace the bags right away so many folks replaced their bank bags which made recovery nearly impossible as replacing the bags erased their logs.
It affected 10's of thousands of players.

I'm not going to use the phrase "Broke my heart" because the connotations there are really severe. I'll say "disappointed".
My present day feelings towards BFA are the most disappointed I've been in the game since 2006 when I joined. The -first- time I felt disappointed though? It was back a long time ago. I mained druid almost exclusively, and I liked them because they had what was essentially a "Animal shapeshifter" spec. They eventually separated feral and guardian into separate specs, they used to be one thing. My shapeshifting spec became a "You're a cat" spec.
It really killed my desire to play druid for awhile.

When I was unable to find a guild to raid with in Cataclysm for the whole expansion. Thank god for LFR or i'd have to wait several expansions to attempt Dragon Soul
They gutted Brewmaster in Legion and I lost Elusive Brew, Guard, and Shuffle. It was my favorite spec.
They destroyed Enhancement Shaman and Spirit Wolves healing. X_X;

Warlords of Draenor. It had so much promise, but fizzled out like a dying fart.
