In Dragonblight, the Wrathgate chain quest.

carrying random gps through stonecore as a tank for days then finally seeing a slabhide mount drop only for the perpetually dead hunter win the roll. only soloed from then on till i got it.

The first time I was heartbroken in WoW was the opening cinematic for legion. I loved Varian as a character and hated it when I found out he died. I am just glad he died an absolute bad@$$.

Mine was actually somewhat recently, when they killed enhancement after WoD and turned it into the parody that exists to this day.

Lore wise probably pre bfa darkshore quests on the alliance side. I think what I'll remember most is talking to the priestess' of elune and when you ask them to get out of here they said they'll go down with the tree

Mechanics wise probably when they turned holy paladins into melee healers and I pretty much stopped playing my main after that.

Shadow orbs for spriest. Meta for demo locks. Gladiator stance for prot warr. My heart can’t take much more

Knowing that I used to have a ton, TON, of rare items, toys, etc, and I deleted them over the years for bag space. Now we have things such as transmogrification, toy box, mounts are BoA basically... I'm freaking saddened by this fact.

Won’t lie was sad when Cata essentially rebuilt the way the game worked on a more fundamental level.

Every expansion since almos feels like they are rebuilding the wheel again and again instead of expanding and growing the systems they have in place (e.g. Vanilla —> WotLK)
