When was the last time the shaman devs responded to feedback?

The shaman playerbase has been constantly providing feedback throughout Dragonflight on the forums, reddit, and other platforms, yet we have barely seen any changes since the start of the expansion.

Other classes have gotten needed reworks, tuning, class fantasy features (Druid forms), and also have really good communication between the devs and their playerbase.

I’ve been maining shaman since cataclysm and all the while it feels like we are the last spec to receive attention from developers, if we receive any at all. I sincerely hope this does not continue into the war within, and that the devs will communicate with us and tackle some of the classes inherent issues.

side note: Farseer seems bad and boring for ele, and just boring for resto. Stormbringer seems pretty promising in terms of fantasy, but tempest seems like a bad button to press, especially for ele. Totemic looks the best out of the three so far, and I hope they continue to build and develop it.

I laughed really hard at the title when you wrote

“The shaman devs” as if this class would even be assigned a dev if they had them for classes.

Shamans are given to the interns to work on.

Tempest just needs to be instant. Or at the very least the same cast time as lightning bolt + hasted.

Sham and Hunter don’t seem to have a class Dev. Or they are on the backburner atm. Hunter trees are honestly worse.

I think we are on the 3rd major Mage refresh in the last 12 months? bleh.

I would hope that tempest not being effected by haste is unintentional

Sadly, so far this is exactly what is happening in TWW, with 0 acknowledgement or fixes to our current issues.

This honestly has been the case since WoD when I started maining ele, and I have no clue why.

It’s not even just dooming at this point, there’s been countless ele specific threads and feedback throughout the years that doesn’t even get a “No” from the devs. Just straight silence.

I still have hope for something coming before alpha ends, but we’ve been burned a few too many times already lol

I think since TBC Bus Shock post by the shaman player base.

My thought was that Tempest should be instant cast, and replace earth shock instead of lightning bolt.
