I swore last time I played they had a 2hr buff and now im only getting one. Am I missing something?

Yeah on phials
Did you drink two phials? Phials last 30 minutes and when you’re alchemy its buffed to 1 hour and since you can pop two at a time you should be able to do 2 hours. I just did last night in raid.
My alchemist is seeing the phial buff on a 30 minute phial as 90 minutes right now.

From what I understand the bonus stayed the same, it doubles the time.
But in DF flasks were replaced by phials. And the duration was nerfed to 30 minutes.
Yes, it is to make things more expensive. That’s always the idea.

A phial cast creates 2. The end result is the same.
But if you’re an alchemist, you need to put points into the relevant phial mastery to get the time extension.
I was just about to check that to see. Because I honestly don’t remember having my phial last that long and when I just tested it, I did a:

Okay, so… I’m seeing Phial Mastery is “Dragon Isles phials last 30 minutes longer,” but that doesn’t account for the other 30 minutes. Unless just having Alchemy gives a base 30 minute extension? But I can’t find anywhere that tells me that.
Edit to add: on the professions page, it does have “perk: mixology,” but it refers to elixirs and flasks, not phials.
Base alchemy would double flask time and would double phial time. I think its in phial mastery/ frost formulated phials the first bonus at 5 gives an extra 30 minutes lol. I’m so broke I can’t even afford to pay attention 
So the tooltip on the base alchemy perk needs updated, then? Because it only says “elixirs and flasks.”
