What classes is it strong against? What should I definitely not use it against?
Any particular clutch plays I should try and make with it (eg pre kidney disarms)

It was a serious response. Use it when you think “man, I really wish I could stop that enemy physical damage dealer from attacking me or my teammate right now”.
Use it to counter big cds or provide a soft peel. Understand it’s CD and theirs. Playing against sin rogue? Use it during vendetta. Then you can use it 1x more off cd for it to be ready again for the next.

I think he meant the Sunday comment when we all know it’s supposed to be used on Saturdays.
A) Disarm has minimal effect on some classes (like WW) where only a few skills are effected. My first question is trying to understand which classes are the most affected
B) lootD shows generally low usage at top tier, thus clearly many,good, players are not taking it in favor of other choices. So obviously not nearly as simple as “use it always against melees”
- arms warrior, right when they avatar. try to force trinket before this.
- rogue, right when they vendetta. try to force trinket before this.
- uh dk, when you are doing your “go”, and healer is CC’d

Could disarm a low DK when their healer is CCd so he can’t Death Strike to heal.

A little off topic, but does disarm do anything vs ww? I thought it use to stop FoF or still does.
You can also disarm & FoF to avoid a good chunk of damage when you play against survival hunters since you can’t disarm the harpoon+frost trap. it might not always have huge effects but you can stop a lot of damage with it.
Disarm preventing Death Strike is big. I thought it also stopped die by the sword but I could be wrong.

it prevents parrying. can’t be 100% that it prevents them activating the ability while disarmed-it used to but i haven’t recently checked-but warriors even with dbts up can’t parry grapple weapon itself and when disarmed they can’t parry even with the dbts buff.

Ah ok, it’s been a minute since I’ve tried it.
They can still parry, just cant dps
i am 99% sure this isn’t the case, but i can’t test it till i’m home in a bit
edit: disarm prevents activating DBTS, and if you have it up when disarmed you will not parry anything even while you retain the damage reduction buff. just checked.

Is this real life? You can’t disarm hunter to stop traps anymore?
Been a long time since played with someone who could disarm and has tried preventing hunter cc chains.
Just remember as others have mentioned is to get them without trinket so you can waste their CD for sure as you can bet many will be offensively trinketing disarm to land a kill.
