Just make Terran and Protoss the playable factions and make Zerg the big enemy like WC3 Scourge.
I wish they would do SOMETHING with StarCraft. But I don’t see them doing an MMO.
As an IP, Starcraft has been dead for a while now so I dont really see it generating much hype as an MMO
It would probably be better to release a different-style game first.

Id even take an rpg in the style of cyberpunk. Could be so good.
Blizzard needs to do something massive to show the world they still have chops because the last ten years have been coasting.
Legion was the closest you would get to a StarCraft MMO.

I know, and I want to be a Red Orc Blademaster as well as having another crack at limited items but as life will teach us. We don’t get what we want.

I get that, I really do! I just doubt that if Blizzard ever makes a StarCraft MMO, they won’t make Zerg playable.
Having playable Zerg would be a pretty big draw, I suspect.

Starcraft is a dead franchise that Blizzard has no interest in. Unfortunately. The MMO market has also shrunk significantly since Starcraft’s heyday, so it would be difficult to build a business model that would work.
