When someone gets mad 😡

My boss lost his cool today, makes him look foolish but I can’t blame him too much tho with the pressures he deals with. I have some tips when someone goes all tazmanin devil on you in IRL or mayb a raid leader:

Look them in the eyes (if you can)

Don’t talk; besides saying “I agree” or “I disagree”

Know yourself just Incase they throw insults at you

Walk away calmy or say brb

Don’t get mad back, keep you cool (swallow your pride)

If anyone has some story’s or more advice of their own share it here! We won’t bite :smiling_imp:

I found laughing is a good tactic.

Frees up a lot of time to find a new job.

Once you get out of there, give them time to cool off before going back into the firepit. Like an hour or two

I laugh when people get mad then explain how life is too short to be angry.

I open my eyes really wide and do that sloowwww turn and walk away thing, like I never saw anything.

Its like saying “youve lost it” without saying it.

I have too much attitude for my 5’3" body to contain apparently. I don’t care who snaps at me, my first reaction almost always is to say “okay, you need to calm down and speak to me in a reasonable tone. Take a minute and come back when you’re ready to have a civil discussion.”

Works really well with children and most adults are usually flustered because I won’t engage in anger.

I just stay muted during raid unless I have a question that way I can yell at people and they will never hear it, and when the raid leader gets mad or frustrated at us I don’t have to engage them. When raid is over it all goes out the window.
