It could be project 60 all over again. Half the playerbase quits with him… and then more gradually after that
I hope next expansion is lit tho
I mean he’s played tons of classic private servers tho, feel like he won’t quit for a while
Also people like Asmon are also more popular than him
I don’t see those people really getting too burned out honestly, at least not for a while
Are you talking about classic? I hit level 10 and I’m running on fumes.
Talkin bout classic ya
Depends on the person on how they get burned out rly
I can only do leveling even enjoying it for like 2 levels at a time, but sodapoppin legitimately just enjoys that type of thing
project content
project income
project twitch prime
project LUL
I doubt it lol, with how terrible bfa is and their are like no other good games out rn, I can’t see people quitting when a streamer does.
yeah bfa is so dead, I was going to play it still but you don’t have much choice, there is 30 min queues for epic bg, 2 rated bgs in the whole horde side.
BFA isn’t dead though. The pvp scene maybe, but not the game in general.
Man, i couldnt even make it to level 2 before logging.
BFA is far from dead. Most of us have just moved on from BFA PvP after not only realizing it is awful but that it won’t be ‘fixed’ until the next expansion, and even then I won’t be holding my breath with these devs.
Nope!! Sorry but over 350k people watched someone ding world first 60 last night! If Soda for some strange reason quit the millions that have come back to enjoy Classic wouldn’t follow. Sorry.
Classic is an historic game for the industry and will change gaming forever. It is possible Classic will beat the WotLK subs and peak next year with the next phases. Classic easily will have 10+ million Subs.
Classic is the future of WoW
It is going to be a very big deal for many years.
Same here. Im already back on retail. The god awful queue times meant that all of my friends are different levels on different questlines, and im pretty much over it
What kind of drugs do you use usually ? Definately want some of what you got. What’s the name of it ??
I like classic but a 15 year old game isn’t changing anything, certainly not forever
You say this but the #1 trending game recently was Minecraft, which for an old game made a massive comeback. Whether you want to call it reboots or social phases that cause old things to become popular again. Who knows.
However, all a game needs is players and to be amazing to play and have an appeal to a massive amount of people. Then as we know now with things like Social media. Everyone gravitates to these games.
Classic having 1.2 mil viewers on launch day was no surprise. It will be a game that will continue to have large numbers in the millions play over time. The only thing hurting it right now is the Que times.
We will have more players next year than this year playing Classic. It will trend in that direction using logical reasoning. You can disagree of course. Time will tell.
Classic will just be the next old game to make a comeback like Minecraft.
The future of World of Warcraft is now bright and it all started with Classic.
I’m with the above poster. Very curious to know what drugs or meds you are on. Don’t want any, but curious.

1/2/3 on steam is typically 500-700k for #1/2 and a bit lower for 3
so in this clip when he implies there’s usually about 500k-700k players online every day at peak hours
he then says it’s like 70% china
so 490k of the 700k is china
EU dominates US in terms of population so splitting the remaining 210k (speculation ofc) would probably look something like 130kEU 80kUS
now those are really just numbers for casual players since most raiders at this point are ‘raidloggers’ and most pvpers at this point only log in when there’s qs
but you can say, nearly every relevant top 20 guild quit a while ago
9 keys in lfg at any point maybe a few more during primetime for both horde and alliance
even the auctionhouse players quit and on even tich and illidan the ahs blow
idk man i think ur delusional
i think the game will be fine, i think it wont slow down
but i think to say wow in the US isn’t pretty much dead is insane
with that said i’m still playing retail over classic and i think most players playing classic will continue to get retail caps/titles which ultimately just makes the experience worse for players who like to play consistently
its dead. I just tried to do The Lions Roar . the old world boss, and nobody is making groups or doing it at all.
yeah its totally dead, US numbers is like 50k active players which means if youre lucky you might find 5,000 in one niche position , divide 24 hours in a day means you got like 200 people per hour in a pve or pvp scenario to work with. what if they are afk or in a guild or something ? GL
Just high off the use of logic and some common sense ![]()
The game died in WoD. What is your definition of dead? Mine is to have 10 + million subs and then lose 50% of those subs in one expansion. Which is what happened. Subs went down to 5mil and then they changed the metric and stopped publicly reporting subs because the numbers were bad.
If any company suffers a 50% loss in one period that is huge, that is what dying looks like. A lot has happened since then of course for the Subs to continue to go down. BFA was an incomplete launch and DOA. So it never got off to a good start and lost the interest of players before it could even attain them with incomplete designs.
So yea… Thank God for Classic to save WoW and it easily will dwarf retail Subs and change the game forever. As a Blizzard fan of over 20 years. Long time Diablo fan and Diablo 2 was the greatest game ever made. Blizzard has to get back to the original games. That is their future.
Old game design was clearly the best and it shows. Classic is the future of WoW and it will pave a new way for us now.
