I don’t know when the right time to do them for experience now after the level changes. I know before you got more or less depending on your level so if anyone knows let me know.
I just do them, they give good experience.
Right but if you get more experience for doing them at a certain level range that is when I want to do them. I have a few alts I’d like to do them with but I want to know the right level to go.
They’re not worth going out of your way for. If there’s an elite one directly in your path then do it, otherwise they’re a waste of time

That is actually not true. I did them pre patch on alts and gained 2 and a half levels sometimes doing all of the quests and the whole thing only took about 10 minutes. It was very much worth my time.
If this is even true, then it needs to be fixed.
Pretty much this. They nerfed them pretty hard xp wise. Back before this patch, you could gain at least one level, sometimes close to two levels doing all the invasions in a zone. My vulp mage was just barely getting half a level doing all of them now, so just stopped doing them altogether.
Yes, they’re not worth it anymore. They give the equivalent of one quest XP now.

Is this an official change or something unintended? Did Blizzard say anything about them with the patch?
This is intended. With levelling being so fast now, having them be super good for XP would’ve just made them mandatory. Same reason the nerfed WoD bonus objectives
Well it’s supposed to be before level 110 before the squish, so currently it should be level 40-44 if everything was squished acccordingly.
Yep. Cant have anyone having alternative ways to level. We must make them stick to gathering bear butts, and zebra hooves, or $60 to level 
look at your xp bar look at the exp they give it should probably be about the same % increase at every lvl ied imagine

if you want to level by legion invasions you still can, they just give appropriate xp relative to the time you spend on them instead of giving you an entire level for 10 minutes of work

Which was literally a part of the game people loved with leveling alts. Getting your alt to Legion level and then doing the invasions inbetween dungeons or zone quests was always something people looked forward to before the level changes.

Yeah except they kind of don’t.
They don’t really scale particularly well. Good luck killing an elite on your own.
It is basically ~2 to 3 quests worth of xp, taking as long if not longer than 2 to 3 quests to complete, especially given how spread out they are.
If you enjoy it, or want to break up the monotony of questing, then go for it.
However as of pre-patch they are no longer time-efficient and you are better off skipping them altogether.

And good luck, if there is anyone else around, or even a group in the finder, because nobody wants to waste the time for the sucky xp you get from them now lol. Not many folks are going to fly from the top of Stormheim to some invasion quest at the bottom of Azuna for one, or two measly bars of xp haha.
