Here’s some fairly obvious ideas:
- Faces that look more like the NPCs, with narrow eyes.
- More than LOL three skin tones. Maybe a more greenish turquoise, a brighter teal, a deep purple (smoke on the water), and I dunno, more than a pathetic three options though.
- More tattoo
tints brightness levels that might show up better on different skin tones (Maybe slightly different tints, but nothing too wildly different).
- More than LOL six hair colors. Why not some very dark, even black hair with arcane magic (like the tattoo color) highlights. Just you know, more than four shades of white and two shades of grey. C’mon.
- More than LOL six hair styles. Six? Really? Include a bald option for both males and females.
- I almost want to suggest a more withered body option, but that’d start up the whole skinny Kul Tiran thing again.
Not really customization, but while I’m here, can we please get some of the Nightborne citizen NPC outfits? I want that short shoulder-covering cape so many female NPCs have, for one thing.

Thought I saw in a video somewhere that some features with customizable colors were switching to a palette style instead of the old sliders.
Always happy to see more people talk about this.
I want more things for allied races in general.
Even if it’s just ports for pre-existing assets.

Bald options for all races are on the ptr right now.
I agree with just about everything else. The round eyes honestly don’t bother me. Add younger face options though.

And Heritage armor needs some work. To allow robeless version, but to do that they’d have to redesign belt, pants and boots imo to look something like this:
Also, separate the plated chin effect and the gloves from the robe and put it into the helm and gloves slot respectively.

Fully agree here, and for all allied races in general, since most are just reskins. Add the tattoos from Tauren and Dwarves to their allied race counterparts, same with LF Draenei. Only ones I can see having minor issues are ones that are modified from an original, like male Z. Trolls, Nightborne, Vulpera and KT humans. But I would still like to see them all get some attention.
Also agree with the heritage armor thing for Nightborne.

Oh, and our own dance would be nice. Only problem would be there might be a couple of Nightborne players who like the current Night Elf dance. I don’t like taking things people like away from them. On the other hand, we should have our own dance. All allied races should.
As to what dance, since we were stuck in a bubble and out of touch, it should be something 70s disco.

I don’t know what Blizzard were thinking when they made the playable Nightborne. It’s pretty sad when the NPC versions have more options, and look better than the playable versions.

Oh! You know what, one idea, blood elves were originally going to have the twist, probably based on the version from Pulp Fiction. If those moves are gathering dust on some old hard drive we’ll take 'em.
Here’s the only footage I can find of it. Unfortunately it still has some of the Night Elf dance left over in the female dance. I remember seeing a more finished version and the males and females looked great dancing together. Ah well.

Okay, for some reason above this, my post was automatically posted in the middle of typing? Wth? Anyways, I am really crossing my fingers on this one. The nightborne now look so bad. They look more night elf than they do nightborne. If they actually get those narrow eyes(which makes them look really unique) and something I was really a fan of back in Legion, I would race change ASAP. No questions asked. THAT is what I was a fan of. The NPCS in suramar. But for some reason Blizzard gave us… what we have now. I would be fine if they let us just choose between the night elfish eyes, and the narrow ones. Cause I’m sure by now, some people may like those better than the narrow ones.

I always wondered why the Nightborne don’t have young faces. You can’t imply all of them are old when you see kids running around the place.
There should be Teenagers or young adults there. Or thousand year old Nightborne that look young. There’s no need to all faces to look extremely old.
Female Nightborne are love, though.

I actually want to see Beard Options for the Nightborne Males and of course even Black and Very White White no that Pink White, White Skin Tune Options for the race.

I dont wanna be mean but its funny how a thread about nightborne new customization only have like 20 answers but a high elve or night elf thread have like 5k in 1 week maybe .
This only means 2 things ; the population of nightbornes is so low like the goblin one or nobody cares at all about that race , what i find really funny tbh .
