When naming your characters how do your names usually go?

You haven’t met me IRL

Well, I don’t know many people so this should be pretty easy.

Usually I just hit the name randomizer. Rougealie here is an exception, she’s named after my first max level wow char on a different account, Rouge.

Due to a lot of RP reasons. Its usually defining. I like roses, so, something with “Rose” in it. Rather generic but it helps to have the TRP3 Addon to expand more than this.

Though most of the time, I just go with that seems…fitting with what I have in mind. Sometimes I will have moments of backlogged memories where I recall older names I used to use and go with it too which typically goes against the grain with my “Creativity” of how I go about naming, which really isn’t creative in the slightest, just convenient.

Ugh, you have my desired rogue name. I was going to name myself Rogueatoni but it’s too long.

I usually go for something very unique. Typically they sound a little… extra. I can randomly come up with some right now on the fly.

  • Arzrichor
  • Telomerix
  • Remorak
  • Xalhifizech

and so on and so forth… I’m my own favorite name generator.

I always feel compelled to use names consistent with the racial lore laid out in each MMO.

It’s a mix of what I feel like at character creation. When I’m being lazy I have used names from the creation screen name generator, but I have also chosen names related to food, places, interesting words, spins on book characters, and my d&d characters.

Old discord name I used for this Hunter. Other than that I just use random words i.e my lock name is “Muehehe”

Depends. Cause of so many names I have to use weird letters or weird spellings, but most of the time its random name generators for those races lol

Honestly couldn’t tell you, because I have no idea myself.

I go with variants of an iconic horror film character.

In general, I tend to try to name characters with actual names, people names, or otherwise things that hold some relevance to them. Yonara is a rare exception. A better example would be with my elves, who by and large are named after Greek Amazons.

ones named after the game huniepop a few just whatever the rest are kiss my whatever like kissmysap kissmyfists sure you know what classes. i actually used to try to come up with really good names and got tired of the always name taken so i really don’t care anymore.

My characters use all kinds of names. Actually, I just get a feel for what/who they remind me of based on their class, race, and appearance. Sometimes I re-make characters because I play them for 10-20 levels and the name just doesn’t feel right. This character (Catelan) was named after my doctors receptionist who was smart, a little pushy, and kind.

I usually have a very difficult time with names. I always -want- them to have some sort of worth or meaning, however usually in the end its whatever sounds best.

Amongst my tide of warriors, one’s named Skittles. Lol!
