Probably around the same time they nerf hunter dmg on cloth, specifically the ones without dmg reduction like mage.
Mages have plenty of tools to deal with hunters.

It needs a rework not nerfes or buffs, both monk and ww talent trees need emergency reworks.

Hunters folding mages is one of the biggest examples of rock paper scissors we’ve got left in this game. You might be bad and let mages get away but this isn’t the case when both specs are played right.
My dude. You’re a level 10, hidden profile forum troll. I’m well aware of how hunters are doing into mages. I also think the current design of both MM and BM is awful. That said though, mages aren’t getting domed like they used to. A good mage will completely negate a hunters go short of having a lot of dispels. Given how weak both priests and shamans are right now (barring holy and shadow), mages aren’t getting their buffs stripped off. Also, holy palis pair up with them well with bop…
I get that you’re embarrassed about your experience, but maybe sit this one out. Now, if you’re mad at how hunters are fairing in BGs, that’s a different forum.

The design is unfun but neither are awful. Infact both are still very good at what they’re supposed to do.

If only disc is weak then you’ve got no point to even say priest is weak. And rsham is a good healer currently it’s just not S tier plus ele is a good caster currently.
Swap on bop or play with a class that’s got a purge. It ain’t that hard.
Tons of projection going on here. Let’s break things down. You make a post practically every week about something being busted while being 2500+ games of shuffle deep. It’s boring. The class you play is more than fine and none of the busted stuff is so insane it holds you back but you still whine about everything. You need to just get good and stop posting.

Well, I’m a hunter, so obviously I know how hunters are doing into mage.
Awful not in how strong or weak the spec is… awful in how one dimensional both specs currently are.

As I stated in another post, there are almost no shamans in RSS atm. In 27 rounds, I have seen one. I rarely see any disc priests and don’t see many holy.

What’s being qued in shuffle doesn’t matter because shuffles just about the path of least resistance and what can be played the best in uncoordinated environments. Hpal does both the best so it gets qued more. If you played actual 3s you’d find tons of rshams and have a better time.
You keep saying this but you’re also the one struggling in shuffle.

Thanks man, I already thought everything you said is cracked up but this is truly a nice thing: nerfing your own damage!
Their damage has always been nuts. But their buff to karma is nuts. It saves them every time. Their damage just slightly buffed too, but I honestly think it’s just them not dying as easily anymore that is the reason they feel overtuned.
That’s part of it for sure. They are super aggressive right now and it is hard to punish them. They are one of the least targeted specs above 2.1 in RSS. Their damage would be more manageable if taking them los meant something. That said, I still feel like it’s their on target damage that needs to be put into check.
The white line was a WW on my team a bit ago. They have same overall output, but their damage inside their goes is super high. Anything but an immunity of some type isn’t enough.
Yep def nutty. At least before they could actually die but they’re almost tanks now.
With serenity I will always trinket wall no matter what. I won’t even let my healer use a defensive on me cause I’m def aware of those damage spikes.
I’m pretty sure they just buffed rsk which was a huge mistake.
