When is transmog going to hit its next evolution?

And by this, I mean the following choices:

  • dual wield or 2h (for those that can do both)
  • weapons on hips or back
  • weapons simply not showing on back without having to wear a ‘special’ back slot item
  • non-class armor types
  • being able to hide weapon or OH during combat (thinking casters)

These should all exist at this point in the game.

Might as well remove the gear being equipable restriction too. Whole lot of cloth pieces look like plate and vice versa. Let us do as we wish with our looks! (More than this, I’d want a dye system so we can make similar style but off color armors fit together)

This is what I meant by non-class armor types  I think I just wrote it confusingly and poorly.

We are not a private server. Some things need to remain

Weird. I just glossed over that line now that I went back up and reread it

Let weapons swap into any other weapon usable at this point

Cuz aren’t daggers still dagger only

Murlock Pajamas, Pirate costumes, Darkmoon Jesters, Moonlit wardens, Excavators, Fireplume, need I go on?

You can already look multiple armor styles, the options are simply limited.

The real answer is probably a combination of issues with models, rigs, and clipping, combined with technical limitations and spaghetti code.

Still disappinting that mogging is still so limited/has barely changed since it debuted. Also, why in the hell doesn’t every race have 10x the customization options by now?

At the very least they should remove the time-limited restrictions on holiday appearances. So what if I want to wear a Santa outfit in July or an Easter Bunny outfit in December or a Pumpkin Head in March? Who cares.

Defnitely! And it’s unlikely that people really use what others are wearing to gauge anything about them anyway… Especially when we live in a Retail world with so many “cosmetic” options that allow us to bypass that.

Heck, I remember when that Magister set was in the TP, I saw a Surv hunter wearing it + the, now class agnostic, MoP Remix mage staff and honestly thought it was a mage until I saw the green nameplate.

Let me be a scarecrow with a punkin head year round! Hear hear!

Yea a handful of meme sets doesnt mean we jus throw eveeything out the window.

Each class wearing their respectivr armor is too core to just eliminate.

Again we are not some private srrver

I think the next evolution of transmog is for it to be by slot, not item.

I agree. Why when you look at my transmog, it easily identifies me as a paladin due to the class-respective armor I am wearing. It would be ridiculous to allow a paladin to wear something silly like a dress. This game is serious business and we can’t have people breaking immersion with what they’re wearing!

i would rather they update the graphics on the older stuff, like shadowmourne or warglaives of azzinoth because they look crummy now compared to the newer stuff and they should be amazing

Just because you are an exception and are purposefuly wanting to look silly doesnt mesn we just destroy the entire gamr.

Good for you to look like a clown, but you are not warcraft.

I want the opposite of this. My weapon and my special back piece showing together. :relieved:

Hey now… calm down. Leave our Pinkie-Sparkles Paladin alone

I just want to DW as a UDK… is that asking too much?
