When is the MMR fix for 2s NA coming?

Currently only 30 people above 2400 in 2s right now here in NA. Matchmaking is all over the place.

Are we going to get an EU styled MMR fix here soon?

That’d be Elite, and 2v2 doesn’t really have a purpose after 2100 unless you don’t play 3v3.

Participation just kind of in ruins because there’s nothing particularly compelling about s4 for PvP. Unranked get nothing. Rival get the same elite sets. Duelist stuff ain’t good.

Probably not? EU was legit, like, 2100 rating as the #1 player in 3v3 whereas on NA it was 300-400 points higher to try to put things into perspective. You would’ve seen r1s and high glads get their dragon and nobody else, probably, had they not tweaked things.

This. Mmr doesn’t feel bad at all. I just started playing this weekend and it started at 2k

MMR isn’t bugged in 2s it’s just not worth it as a bracket for gearing and grinding honor lol

True! Always felt like there were so many more people in glad even in 2s by this point. Strange season for sure

*elite not glad

Elite. Gladiator isn’t a rank nor can it be earned in 2v2.

It’s just low participation and people chilling to farm gear and/or wait for inflation.

I mean that’s just because they unlocked conquest last week

Everyone is busy gearing

2s will get play again after probably

Bracket is really boring now though anyways this season

Tbh I’ve only PvP’d extremely casually until SL S2, never tried for glad or pushing any rating just used to login q with randoms or friends just as bad as me then get off. Since joining the forums, a lot of stuff is new to me, and I learned a lot. I see people say inflation a lot, so this means what exactly? for an example: more people will start to play so the guys who got 2100 first week will be 2700 and the guys stuck at 1700 will get duelist week 10?

I made a post recently and was told 2100cr is a high expectation for LFG at this point in the season, that I didn’t know either because I figured if I could get it anyone can because I don’t think I’m good at the game honestly. I just press when the enemy does and try to position away from people when I have nothing.

Also is it possible to get glad running whatever I want? I’m not trying to push for rank 1. So do comps really matter that much or can I for example run enh/spriest/rdru with friends and get glad?

As a casual PvPer that was never deep in the scene, things I see around here are confusing sometimes.

Sorry for all the questions professor Kennie, but info from you has been reliable.

Edit: What do people do until inflation? because you can’t just q up. Having a lot of games in LFG is bad people just think you suck when you might just enjoy q’in lol

Yeah pmuch this

Can see it on top end of ladder for example, end of last season highest players were like 3400, right now it’s under 2800 since it just started

Each week mmr passively increases (actually every day as season goes on) for every player so eventually rating gets easier and easier to gain

Well, I’m 2150cr right now was 2200cr. Hopefully I inflate to glad and get my first one lol. Just gotta keep playing and try to reduce my mistakes. Never cared for glad before but as I PvP more something is making me want it.

Yeah definitely possible as long as you keep qing consistently

Kind of, yeah.

I think that some comps are certainly going to be a little more easy/reliable than others, but as long as there’s no massive lack of synergy between specs, then proper use of cc, cd trading, etc, you can make more things work than I think people realize.

There’s a lot of perception issues as well as kind of unwillingness to try something weird because it can take a few games before you have an idea of whether or not it’s actually going to work into the current comps.

Yep, I think that you have a pretty high chance of getting it provided things keep going as they are.

So basically leave it busted because “nobody plays it”?

Seems like exactly what blizzard would do….Are you secretly a dev?

Participation falling off a cliff at the breakpoint at which rewards effectively end isn’t “busted”.

No, it’s just not tuned at all to the point that pvp in general is losing many participants.

It’s almost like they could do a tuning pass every few weeks and make it better.

But they want to “let the meta progress organically” :joy:

How many viewers for the last awc? 5k?

Meanwhile asmongold getting 100k viewers watching Johnny depp and amber turd.

Tuning wouldnt change this seasons lackluster rewards

If only they added a reward for the casuals this season.

But it would make more people play it.

Blizz really needs to stop screwing the “casual” players by catering to the top 1%.

Would you care to expand on this?

They already have by making catch up super easy.
