When is the Horde bias going to be addressed and fixed? It negatively affects the game!

I mean, calling bias in general is a little silly.

However, there is one side that is made to look better every time :woman_shrugging:

Yes, I know. I was talking about spatial rift. It is a channeled-like ability and you stop it to finish the teleport, and it breaks stealth.

Yes, itā€™s been always like that.

Alliance should have never had this bonus to begin with. No amount of freebies is going to stop players from picking the side that they prefer to play. That was just a plain dumb idea and I wish they would get rid of it entirely.

Bull. Horde wins the majority of battegrounds because most alliance players just plain suck in PVP. They donā€™t understand the concept of team work and completely ignore objectives. Thatā€™s why they tend to lose.

Really? I much prefer my racials over any others the horde has. Iā€™m sure every Horde players would love to have the ability to mount run in the maw. Forsaken has that sweet cannibalize ability, but thatā€™s more for show. You get the same benefit from consumables. There isnā€™t a single racial ability that Horde has which makes any difference in PVP. That was changed years ago. Youā€™re whining over nothing.

So shadowmeld was nerfed now? And the Belf racial was nerfed to this already. Itā€™s not something that can be used a lot. Just take in a Priest.

Well, I remember the time when we marched into the home of the Forsaken without a plan for the blight, and how the Draenei barely did anything during the War of Thorns when they were a few minutes of travel away from Darkshore, or how we were forced to ally with Saurfang when he was one of the main orchestrators of the War of Thorns. Or how the Alliance lorewise has the power to dismantle the Horde and yet they pardon them every time they go around murdering civilians.

Dumb writing isnā€™t exclusive to the Horde.

Oh brotherā€¦ Unfortunately there will always be threads like this because the victim mentality with some Alliance players is so strong that they will always find a reason to complain. You can always find something that isnā€™t perfectly fair because Alliance and Horde arenā€™t exactly the same. Some things are a little better for Alliance, some a little better for Horde. Nothing as significant as you guys make it out to be, though. I mean, this guy is seriously complaining about the Warmode bonus and blaming lost BGs simply on Racials. I reported him because I think it may literally be a troll. Stop worrying about the top > 1% of players. One set of racials will always be favored unless they are completely identical, and last I heard a top guild went Alliance for the last world first race.

People are so easily influenced, Jesusā€¦ all these people actually agreeing with this guy, itā€™s shameful. People are getting ā€¦ dimmer and dimmer.

Eat it up, guys. Clearly this guy isnā€™t a troll.

Iā€™m actually still reeling that anyone is calling Kaelā€™thas a member of the Horde, considering he was a raid boss in the very expansion that Blood elves were released in. In what capacity I wonder, did Kaelā€™thas ever serve the Horde?

at the end of the day it doesnt effect the majority of players, like the mass majority of players clear heroic and do M+ and only few guilds even attempt mythic raiding past shreikwing on either side

its a problem that only effects a small fraction of the playerbase so they dont see it as an issue

Players have been asking for cross-faction grouping of various sorts for years now. However, the issue does seem to have gotten legs in the last six months.
The usual reasoning is that people want to play with their friends and the lore excuse is weak since the Horde and Alliance always end up working together anyway.

The faction divide creates plenty of issues for grouping. Alliance has a harder time finding highly skilled players for raids and M+. Alliance players also tend to avoid PvP, both in the open world and in BGs. This trickles down to affect other things, like when mythic raids get opened for cross-server groups and who gets to participate in what content.

Then thereā€™s always the issues with friends. Blizzard always tells us WoW is better with friends, and how they know everyone wants to play with their friends.
But then they insist that Alliance and Horde friends canā€™t play together. Canā€™t even talk to each other.

The holdouts have always been those people that have completely thrown themselves in with one side or the other. Those that like beating up the other faction. Pretty much everyone else has tried both sides by now and probably has friends on both sides of the border. BfA even pushed you to see the story on both sides.

I like my popcorn with extra salty tears butter, and plenty of the flavor powder. Ranch and cheddar powder is amazing.

Look at context, the guy I was talking to was claiming Uther was an alliance character despite never being part of the stormwind alliance. Meanwhile claiming Kael and Draka have nothing to do with the horde.

You cant call Uther an alliance character claiming alliance bias and just handwave Kael and Draka.

Uther was in the Alliance and itā€™s the same Alliance that posters have used to justify wanting to ā€œreclaim Silvermoon.ā€

You can handwave characters that never joined either version of the Horde.

Kael was the prince of the blood elves and is one of the reasons Horde posters use to justify Blood elves being horde side.

You cant make a rule for one character and immediately make an exception to that rule for another.

Them treating Kael bad is why he left but he never joined the Horde after. He went to Outland. His treatment had an impact on us leaving. Sylvanas convinced us to join the Horde.

Yet,they do talk with each other in discord etc.and make toons to play with each other side. That is just an excuse. What makes this different as of now. If you do have this cross faction where no one harms the other then surly this would end the game or is that the intent.

Iā€¦ find this incredibly hard to believe.

Uther was part of the alliance of lorderon which fell apart in the third war. The alliance as we know it today is the stormwind alliance and us petty drastically different from the alliance of lorderon.

If Uther counts as an alliance character despite this, Kael counts as horde. You canā€™t have your cake and eat it too.

Yes, I know that. But he joined a version of the Alliance that isnā€™t much different than your Alliance now.

Kael never had a chance to join either version of the Horde. Iā€™d like to hope he would, but he might decide if he was ever brought back to not join us.

He was only ever a part of the Alliance of Lordaeron. Then joined up with Vashj and Illidan. Then the Legion.

Only 0.0001% did the ā€œshadowmeld skipā€ in M+, it was never a thing in pugs and only done in organized groups.
