When Is Shrine of the Storm Returning to M+?

Shrine of the Storm is one of the most beloved M+ dungeons to have been around. It was great seeing Siege of Boralus coming back (it truly is a masterpiece), but Shrine is even better!

Can we expect to see Shrine in Season 2? If so there are a couple changes I’d like to see made:

  1. The timer in BFA was too generous. A minute or two can probably be shaved off of it to make it as challenging as other dungeons.
  2. The trash generally was weak. It was really only somewhat challenging on Fortified weeks. Buffing the trash is a reasonable measure to take here (probably +5% damage).
  3. It was too easy to cheese the MC mechanic on the third boss. I think the electrified pool should be the only way to remove the debuff and that running into the void balls shouldn’t be a factor
  4. Finally, the council fight needs a tank buster ability that is actually challenging. It wasn’t very challenging as a tank at all and was more of a cheesy kite fest.

I can’t wait to see Shrine come back!

Lord stormsong now also does a group wide AoE requiring 3 million hps from the healer. I figure Blizz likes to add this to bosses now so why not

Well, the way current dungeon choices seem to be going it’s probably season three because they need to assault us with Tol Dagor first.
