Any announcements on when phase 2 might be?

Starting to notice a trend of players and streamers, losing interest in playing SoD.

Viewing the gold bar separating the tabards, The double backslash would seem to indicate that’s the middle of winter. So, according to this roadmap image for the classic games/world… I’d say we’re late in uploading more than just increasing the new lev cap…

I personally believe phase 2, level 40 cap, new content, more open areas and mounts will probably be the best if not one of the greatest classic wow experiences of all time.

I just feel like phase one is coming to that point where most people have leveled several alts to 25, and are now running out of things to actually do in just the small amount of available zones for our current level cap

I am guessing this coming Tuesday they will announce it for 2 weeks after that, on January 23rd.

Phase 2 will be the best classic wow of all time.

Stranglethorn Vale is going to be so incredible.

I/We hope your assumption is correct. Only way to tell is that login notice says maintenance will take longer than expected.

Unless I see some major changes in the rune system, I’ll not be returning to SoD. I’ll have to wait this one out till Cata reboots.

Very soon, within the month.

I’m assuming the final week of January.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they held off a little longer, due to how unbalanced things were this phase, maybe they’d need to spend an extra week or two on fixing stuff.

At the same time, SoD is kind of a live beta, so maybe they’ll just roll it out and deal with whatever comes afterwards.
