When is Patch 9.2.5?

Want to know if I should save my Conquest or not?

We don’t know. They’ll announce it at least a couple weeks in advance.

I’d say within the next 3-4 weeks and wouldn’t be surprised to see the date announcement Tuesday. The WoW Youtubers are really ramping up 9.2.5 vids and those usually coincide with an announcement.

However, they’ve already said that 9.2.5 and Season 4 may not go hand in hand so what we could see is 9.2.5 launch with the new Fated raids but Season 4 happens later.

blizzard said later in the year it will be before or after classic wrath launch my bet is before like augest/sept then classic wrath nov/oct.

Season 4 will be later in the year. While it is tied to 9.2.5’s release, it won’t happen with it’s launch.

Most were assuming it would be out by now. The Season 4 M+ stuff just went in so it has to be close. I’d say it would be out before the 4th of July. Even then that would be really late of a release date. Except sometime in June.

blizzard just said later in the year im just thinking before classic wrath which most likely be oct/nov so augest/septermber for 9.2.5 is my best guess.

I’d expect Blizz to hold off as long as possible and try to keep less time of the drought between 9.2.5 and 10.0.

It’s closer.

I’m extremely skeptical of this.

Summer 2029.

No one knows. Sometime in June would be the expectation based on previous lengths between .0 and .5 patches at the end of an expansion.

August/September as the confused guy suggested would be longer than any other .5 patch, so I doubt it.

No patch has ever lasted more than 4 months on the PTR. The vast majority are 3 months.

The PTR Went up march 22nd. So at the latest, expect it by July 22nd.

But more realistically, 3-4 weeks does fit the typical patch progression.

You have to remember they want to start alpha and they, to my recollection, don’t do a PTR and alpha at the same time. And if they launch alpha in july/August, we likely wouldn’t get DF until late Q2/early Q3 2023.

Gotta keep in mind they’ve said season 4 will not launch with 9.2.5.

I’m still skeptical. But it doesn’t even affect me, so I suppose it’s irrelevant. Nothing gets added that I have interest in and they’re ruining one of my favorite mounts again. So I suppose I shouldn’t have even stuck my nose into all of this.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but I still believe it will launch in June as Maizou outlined. The content cadence alone would warrant a June release, new Dark Ranger content, Fated Raids and cross faction play would be enough (in Blizzard’s eyes) to keep us going until Season 4.

I would disagree with DF launching as late as Q2/Q3 2023, they can’t afford to wait that long without at least another patch and season for SL. The latest they could launch DF would be Q1. No way can they stretch 9.2.5 or Season 4 for a year or more.
