I raid with 2 groups, both can’t do H Raz. P1 → furthest I seen is the DPS check when you get to the platforms
The fact I can get a 411 in my vault for a +15 far easier then H Raz is, is stupid.
Last night we just went into normal on alts because we felt it was a waste of time. Basically planning to just farm vaults for gear before we do her. Why is it tuned so stupidly to basically force you to M+ or Mythic raid in order to out gear her before you an down her?
RAZ NEEDS NERF. All difficulity. If you don’t do it soon, lots of people gonna just quit raiding.
Funny you try to troll but you do realize you are reliant on your TEAM, for the kill. Not a “skill issue” it’s a”tuning” or “team” issue. 0/10 troll. Especially when I just called you out for skill issue in my post.
Well, we are gonna have to just disagree I guess. Before I go on (to save you reading time) We all know Blizzard is gonna nerf it. They always do. They will do it maybe a month or two before the next raid releases. So no need to even ask.
Having said that, I never understood the need to clear everything you attempt. Sometimes you are just not that good. You meaning you or your team.
I feel like everyone in this game puts on a silly front. They could wipe 500 times on something, and the moment they clear it they will look back and be like “Lol it was faceroll.” And if they hit a wall they simply claim the content is overtuned because SURELY you are skilled enough to down it. never mind everyone else that did.
It’s like Facebook up in here. Everyone pretending they are super skilled, but totally not hardcore sweaty, and sort of casual, but not that kind of casual, and are basically better than most, but still the average demographic.
Here’s the thing. I have every AOTC. Some Heroic I cleared super quick, I remember doing Nighthold and H Gul’dan went down really quickly. I do remember the odd hard end boss - KJ for example. But Sylvanas/Jailer and Raz have been an entirely different level required pre-nerf to down.
And that’s why a lot of people instead of slamming their face, just don’t waste their time. I rather just wait for a nerf then keep slamming my face and dying in p1.
Can? Yes. Probable? No. The point is if you don’t see a problem with 7/8H on most guilds at this point in the xpac, and you see them 3/8M then you are literally delusional Or you’re one of those derailer forum warriors xd one of the two. No disrespect.
We’ve only prog’d on it for like 2.5 hours but if even 1 person dies we don’t have the DPS to make the check for the adds on the side platforms. Yeah, we maybe had one too many healers and our DPS is not the greatest, but that check is super tight. It does feel like a Mythic encounter. And when we were able to break the shield on the next phase, it was barely. Probably due to not having enough people with shield-breaking talents/abilities. But that’s another super tight one. Definitely a huge step up from the rest of the raid.
This is pretty easy to check. If your raid’s average iLevel is in the 400-405 range, and most all of your dps is parsing at least blue … then it’s only 1 of 2 things:
1> It’s overtuned.
1a> Otherwise, you’re expecting people have to be Mythic geared for a Heroic boss. Don’t be dense.
2> All the comments about “git gud” fail to recognize that ph1 Raz is … nothing. You’re telling me a player got through EVERYTHING ELSE in the raid that leads up to Raz … but you CAN’T AVOID A FRONTAL???
Cmon. Be serious.
ph1 Raz is just a dps check. There is no “git gud” about it. If you simply MADE IT to Raz … you dun got gud.
I haven’t checked anyone’s profiles or anything, but I have a strong suspicion that the fight is simply overtuned. And if I wanted to put a foil hat on, I’d say that was done ON PURPOSE to inflate their Mythic-Raiding numbers.
Because, as has been noted, the first few bosses on Mythic tend to be easier than the final Heroic. So dip those toes, get some over-gear… and make Mythic Raiding look more popular than it really is.
