I cannot be the only one that experiences this, but here we go.
The discussion here is that when something RNG occurs outside of your favour it is considered bad luck by Blizzard design and there is nothing that will be done for it. My question is, where does “bad luck” end and poor design start.
For many of the retail player base that are invested in the game that they subscribe too, we do everything to push our “mains” to the limit and part of this is the weekly cache. You push your keys/PVP for a chance at EPIC loot and progress your character to the maximum potential. You wait that week until that delightful weekly reset happens and you wake up excited to see what awesome loot you have to smash the next piece of content you do.
Unfortunately the “bad luck” RNG roll hits you with a semi-truck made of the 4 pairs of un-optimal hence unusable gloves from these caches you work so hard to get and you are left crippled as a character. Watching all the big characters fly by /spitting on you as you crawl your way to their level.
With these systems on systems like corruption, where you already have to use lower iLVL gear if the corruption is “BIS”, but to also receive the same slot of gear MULTIPLE times and cant even use it because of those better items is inconceivable.
Can there be like a 2 week cooldown on item slots on characters so that characters don’t overlap items when we open the caches that we work each week to get?
Looking to you Devs
Of 7 weeks, I have gotten 4 pairs of useless gloves and 2 trinkets (cant corrupt btw) which of them 1 I sometimes use because its not great in majority of situations.
