I think any settlement will be big but not more than they make. For instance the Riot one is 100 million. But doesn’t touch what they make. It’s not good for business but they won’t go out of business from it. They’ll just sell more things on the store to make up for it.

I need to make a silly post like this. Any suggestions?

How about… when is the Horde being removed from the game?

when they remove factions entirely.

It’s kind of bouncing around where it was. It’s not really recovering yet. https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/atvi

my guess is sometime in 2080 when it merges with EA.

shortly afterwards, they launch Star Citizen beta.

O_o ?

Just how small do you think Activision Blizzard is ?

As of the end of Sept 2021 they have over $10 billion of Cash and Investments over $2.1 billion of which is free cash.

The EEOC settlement , if approved by the courts would only set them back $18 million. Over 3 years during which they could earn more to offset it’s cost. This settlement hasn’t been approved by the courts.

Even if all 4 of ATVI’s lawsuits get settlements of similar size ATVI can still afford it out of petty cash they have lying around. They are not some mom and pop sewing machine shop that might go out of business if too much money is wasted. They are a billion dollar video game company that’s amoung the top video game companys in terms of profit made in the world.

Not sure why this post was flagged, but to answer the question. It won’t be.

Not without a major takeover occurring, which has not happened. As far as I know, while there is controversy after controversy, the actual business side of Activision Blizzard, the side that is generating profit for everyone, hasn’t been affected.
