And as I said:
it’s completely irrelevant.
Unless you came out of the womb knowing how to tank well.

Ofc its relevant, you said not all tank have my gear, except im not using this gear to tank queued content.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest a dual-EV stacked 468 M+ runner is not the target audience for some guy in heirlooms on a new tank talking about doing runs in normals (and maybe heroics…maybe) while he learns the job.
This is what we call irrelevant post.
people will only kick tanks when clearly tanks are trolling/bad/clueless.
Im really glad more and more people started to kick bad tanks tbh, thank you.
Thank you for adding to the ever decreasing population of tanks
i vote kick slow tanks who think four other people need to wait from them to keyboard turn and click their spells
I went and healed some things, Honestly never really found a bad tank, a few squishy ones but eh, no one died, I got my Tank setup, honestly not even sure I wanna try now Since I have been away for a while. I been doing instances and stuff as a healer and dps to learn the mechanics etc, that way if I do tank I already know what to expect.

Honestly though I could blindfold tank Classic np, only cause I did it so much as progression I cant unlearn the mechanics lol.
The only bad part to classic is , 40 mans because for nax you are going to need 6 tanks and a few shadow priests that actually know the fights. Something as much fun as it was, NOT looking forward to that again.
amen to that
I doubt many are tanking for the title of “king” or are looking to get pandered. You want a tank for your group? Accept That some may still be in the learning stages. Being a tad bit more accepting that everybody is not on the same level of experience is just respect. If you can’t provide that then I wouldn’t tank for you anyway.
If you enjoy / want fast past experiences all the time, that’s great, do your thing. Either tank it yourself or find friends who want similar experiences. Don’t take it out on somebody who is learning.
If it’s a pug - you’re expected to know everything and pull your weight. Learn with friends.
I don’t have friends, are you saying that I shouldn’t take part in half of the game? Even a freakin normal dungeon or normal raid?
I’m a new player and I’m already discouraged to raid thanks to people like you.
It’s not that I expected to be carried, I know most of the fight, I even used those flask and food on a normal raid. But is it really so hard give others some chances?
People seem to be under the impression that low level heirloomed tanks are still gods.
That might have been true at some point, but since scaling has changed, that is nowhere near the case anymore.
This. I’m leveling a Guardian Druid (and I’m in no means the best Guardian Druid).
Around the time of Scholomance, I started getting a lot of DPS who pull ahead. I didn’t mind at first, I just picked up mobs and kept going. Until someone aggrod the entire room in the lecture hall before the Darkmaster.
We wiped.
Then, I got DPS trying to be smart - butt at me for “pulling too much”. If you want to go off and pull, whatever, but I know how much I can hold and stay up. I know (by that part in the dungeon at least) how much punishment I can take with the healer I have.
You pull more on top of me, whatever, but I’m not gonna stand around and get yelled at cause someone else thought I should be able to pull more than I can.
Nope, because everyone else usually agrees that the tank is going at grandma speed and gets kicked
You’d like to think you’re irreplaceable but you really are pretty expendable if someone else in your group enjoys tanking and can tank.
As heals if dps are being stupid and pulling they aren’t getting heals.
Sorry not sorry
Also, if you weren’t so focused on blazing through leveling dungeons and actually attempted to socialize you might actually meet some really cool people you could play with
Another post about the leveling experience? People are actually leveling toons now? I’m totally waiting for Shadowlands when they make the experience a zillion times better… a zillion!
Someone said this while i was dpsing in a heroic once:
Player: “Dude! i waited 25 mins to get in here and I’m not waiting any longer because you turds wanna kick the tank”
Then he got kicked for his poor attitude. So yeah, wether the tank isn’t going at the pace you want them to or not, players won’t kick them simply because they have to wait for another when they already waited a long time to que into a dungeon. And even if a player is playing a class with a tank spec, that doesn’t mean they’ll switch and start tanking till a new tank comes.
I don’t think I am. Lots of people complaining about something doesn’t make them right. Millions of people in the world think some magical bearded sky daddy is real, it doesn’t make them right either.
Just because you think someone’s wrong doesn’t make them wrong either.
Fine with me. Let em kick me. They can wait while I get another insta que.
The queue system prefers dungeons in progress over new groups. Most times a dungeon in progress (in my experience as it’s been a while since i have dps’ed or healed a queued dungeon) when the tank left or got kicked it was almost instant when a new tank appeared.
I had a thought. Implement a novice system for dungeons/raids. If you’re learning, queue up for novice versions. I dont mean to dumb down the instances, just have it be known those who queue are new to the roll/game. This way, all the a-hole dps and healers can play with their people, while newbies can have a good time.
Because they are people too
It’s a game… Chill with the irrational emotional non sense and grow a spine. Nobody should stay awake at night because a dps pulled. Quit enabling such weak mindedness.
