Is there a proven method to defend yourself successfully when gnomes attack in large numbers? I find that they use the swarm tactic pretty often in combat.

I heard aoe damage works. Also shout out in their native tongue that you have a plague to make them all into leper gnomes that will fear them all and give you enough time to escape.
There is no defense, there is only Gnome acceptance.

I imagined an orc shaman trying to kick them but being overwhelmed. It was pretty good, but it made me sad too. maybe 6/10.

I feel almost insulted by the nature of the post and the similarity to my name… Though I welcome the attack dog gnomes, I’ll slaughter them all.
start popping out some roundhouse kicks they will expect you to yield for a moment before they lunge at you you just got to keep it up tell they are all knocked out
I like to think of it as they are just trying to give you a big group hug, but in the case they aren’t…I just blow my coat, and leave them with mouth fulls of hair and run for it.
