When does the One-Shotting stop?

I am aware now from taking my Dracthyr to WoD that old expansion content you just one-shot everything, and that this is by design.

As it was explained to me, you get an absurd damage buff when you go back to the Old Campaign and Dungeon content.

I would like it noted that I am in no way complaining about this, or asking for it to change.

I am just wondering for my own information, what is the cut-off point for this, expansion-wise?

I am planning on doing Chromie Time at least twice (WOTLK as a Death Knight, Legion as a Demon Hunter), but I am wondering for other characters, like my Evoker that is already 60. Would I also be one-shotting BfA and Shadowlands, if I went back to see those stories?

When morale improves.

They try to make leveling as terribly unfun as possible in hopes you will just give up and buy a boost. Their plan kinda backfired though cuz now most people unsub before reaching level 30 and never come back.

Some of the quests maybe, but not the raids. Not yet anyway.

This is all well and good, but I am not talking about leveling really. I am talking about going back to BFA/Shadowlands and other older content on a level 60.

I was inspired by the thread title. Bonus damage ends at Legion. BFA and Sneedolands do not have it. I’m not even sure Legion actually has it, but max level decent gear makes it easy enough.

Gotcha.

Thanks!

BFA world content is scaled to 60, as that is the “current” timeline for new players. Some BFA stuff is still scaled to like 50 or 55, it’s a little odd. At 60 you would not be able to do normal dungeons solo (they are 60), and likely not heroic or mythic but you could try (those are 50 or 55).

Shadowlands would feel the same as BFA just without the kinda wonky different zone levelling.

I see, that is exactly what I needed to know, thank you.

It does. My ~415 ilvl hunter did 500k dps to mythic Aggramar and like 800k on Argus (because he doesn’t have that immune phase).

BfA is where the legacy buff isn’t active.

So wait for the next expansion after Dragonflight is what I am hearing.

When Horde Moonkins can no longer aggro every enemy NPC in sight.

Lmao!
Dang it, made me gigglesnort real loud. I think the neighbor heard me.
