I’m wondering if anyone knows the timeline for currency reset. I remember feeling blindsided at the end of S1 because the currency wound up resetting a week before I expected it to. Does currency reset on the 5th? Or is it next Tuesday?
Just trying to plan how long I have to try and farm the last tier pieces I need on various characters so if I need to upgrade champ pieces this week to get heroic appearances or if I still have another week to wait and see if I get lucky with the vault.

They aren’t going to reset currency before the season resets.
Cool, maybe last patch I was confused by season start vs patch release and found the currency evaporated before the actual season start date.

There are 2 dates this time too. Season 3 officially starts Aug 12th, the patch drops on the 5th. Last season currency reset the week that the patch dropped, the week before the official start of s2. If Boredumb is correct and currency resets on the 4th, then it will be the same this time around as it was last time. I haven’t been able to confirm, last season was also not clear. I’m going to be on the safe side and be prepared for the currency to reset when the patch drops Aug 4th

The stones don’t, there was a recent blue post. We get a new type of crest every season now, so it doesn’t matter if they delete your stash or whatever, they won’t be usable for anything current anyway.
Yes, seasonal currencies do reset at the beginning of a season. The only one that is not resetting is Valorstones, as per a blue post.
I was only talking about the stones specifically valorstone but everything else most likely remains the same.
Then next time, specify that. The OP asked, “When does S2 currency reset?” That’s general to all currency, not specific to Valorstones.
