When? I resubbed to ff14 because I Want to see the story and I have Last of us 2 and Ghosts of tsushima ive barely touched (also disco elysium and persona 4).
im always running old raids and never have time for other games.
Get in a good guild so that you can complete patch content early (say, Ahead of the Curve if that’s your goal) and spend the next ~2 months of a patch doing something else.
Shocking revelation: the best way to be casual is actually to play seriously. I see so many people playing like literal WoW wage slaves, logging everyday for trivial things they feel they have to do, because that’s their only form of (excruciatingly slow) progress. Whereas if they upped their game, they could actually play WoW casually. Such a weird paradox.
I tried to get into FF14 and it led me to an error page after I put in the code they sent to my email, and I’ve never tried to make a trial account there since.
I’ve attempted to play FF14 on a trial, but couldn’t get logged in. Changed my password, its incorrect. Changed it again, it’s incorrect. So I gave up lol
After I’ve completed a goal for myself in-game, I usually stop playing for several days until I can come up with another goal (that I can actually achieve). Since I don’t raid or run M+, I focus on collections or leveling and it helps to boost my eagerness to play.
Sometimes, I just find myself in a lull with WoW, so I have to give myself a break by playing something else. Currently, I really want to make another character in Skyrim, so I’ll probably do that for a few days until I can get my head back into WoW
I absolutely LOVE the game but when it comes to arpgs I like fighting bosses and dodging attacks, working in groups. Diablo 3 did this perfect even though the rest of the game sucked and last epoch looks more my style.
Grim Dawn is really easy to get into and an excellent all-round arpg. Number crunching doesn’t truly come into play until you’re doing max difficulty stuff.
