When do you leave mythic plus keys?

When do you decide when its enough to leave a mythic plus key? when you find out they don’t know mechanics or when you realize this is going to go over the time limit or do you just finish it out regardless?

I stay until we’re finished. I have felt like leaving once or twice since I started WoW though.

Only once someone else leaves that bricks the key completely, like the tank or healer.

I stick it out unless others leave, or it’s clear we can’t finish it and we all agree to leave. Ran TOP on Tyrannical and after 10 wipes on the last boss we decided to call it.

I leave at the end. Or when the dps is just that bad they cant kill the first boss even after several attempts.

And when I say bad I mean I top DPS on boss as tank and they keep dying by standing in avoidable damage.

Usually, I stay till the end. Most of the time, it is other people that have less patience than me. Been plenty of times some one doesn’t like the route the tank took and they rage about it and leave.

Also a good idea to leave before the key starts when you see there are 2 warlocks in the group.

I leave if it’s my own key and I’m not going to time it, I don’t feel like wasting time for a 1/5 chance to get loot and I’d rather just downgrade it now than later

Yesterday I was doing a +10 Mists and wiped on the fairy boss twice due to detonated explosives

We had 3 ranged dps, literally all they have to do is either tab-target or click it and press 1 button from any position

When my group is that braindead its not worth the effort

On Tyrannical weeks, if you use lust and pride on a boss and wipe, 99% of the time that key is dead. There’s no sense in wasting a half hour after that for a reduced loot chance when I could get a new group that could time another one. On Fortified weeks it is a little more forgiving but if people are dying to easily avoidable things, dps isn’t pulling their weight, tank or healer is awful and it’s obvious the key is going to be a struggle just to complete untimed - I’m out.

I stay till the key is done or someone else leaves first. I’d rather stick it out and help the group, explain where things went wrong etc.

I have never left an M+ key first. As long as four other players are willing to keep going, I will keep going.

I’m usually not the first one to leave but there have been rare occasions where we’re like 30 deaths and 30 mins in before we even get to the first boss and I just plain dont have time to do a two-hour key.

Only when someone leaves, i rather finish and get credit for my vault.

The only time i’d leave is if the key is 10+ minutes over timer and/or there are an excessive amount of deaths that aren’t yours.

i.e. I was in a +14 Necrotic Wake run last week where a DH tank could not stay alive no matter what, he literally died to nearly every trash pull and died to every boss, by the time we got to the 3rd boss, the death counter in the dungeon was over 50 (majority from the tank), and the timer on the dungeon was now almost 15 minutes over… So yeah I left when they died on that boss.

I Can’t tell you how many times I feigned death through out that dungeon… had that spell ready to press on at a moments notice… as a result only 3 of those 50+ deaths were mine due to not being quick enough or unavoidable death when the tank died. I should of left earlier but each time I told myself I am going to leave or felt like leaving, they’d finally survive and we’d clear the trash or kill a boss, so then I stupidly decide to stay.

When the BRs cant do Stitchflesh correctly.

When they are exceedingly toxic and/or well over the timer

+20 mins for a key over timer already? I’m gone.

Toxic people? Cya

Before they start because mythic plus sucks

I don’t pug ever so… never. :stuck_out_tongue:

I normally give my pug groups a 3 strike system. If one person is constantly dying that isn’t the tank, I just let it go. But if the tank or whole party starts wiping to stupid crap or not knowing their role, I leave.

I run with friends so I don’t leave. I did have to switch to balance because our healer is bad at mechanics and I’m bad at off heals as feral.
