So they are the final core race not to have the armor right?(I don’t count Dracthyr cuz normal armor doesn’t show in their dragon form) Will we get them soon? Do it be different for both factions? Just a recolor? I need answers!

We will never get it because Blizzard has forgotten about us entirely. They literally prioritized giving it to the brand new Earthern race over us. It makes no sense.
Btw just wait for all the Blizzard defenders to come out and screech about “But what about Mists of Pandaria? All those Armor sets are your heritage!!!”

I mean.
Isn’t almost every set in Pandaria a Pandaren themed set? And I think just about everyone can throw on Shado-Pan stuff now.
I typed that before reading that post, but, yeah. But only because it’s true. If the goblin heritage didn’t exist (Which I’m not hyper pumped about since it’s about one goblin cartel, goblins are a bit bigger than that) I’d be more than satisfied with Undermine’s offerings alone.
That said, a questline celebrating Pandaren heritage would be neat.

I don’t know, but I sure hope it’s soon. It would be nice to be included. 
But for real, we’re a core race and it does seem that we’ve just kind of been passed over. Voryn is likely correct, people will in fact call the MoP gear heritage armor, but just like him, I disagree with that.
Surely Blizz can come up with a small quest line like they have with the other races that have received heritage armor…

I would’ve pointed at the monk tier sets but i’m out of ideas for how the heritage set will compete with that stuff. 
edit: I would like to see the Pandaren heritage set during the MoP Classic release this summer.

Monk is not all that the Pandaren are.
I was more referring to the Temple Plate set, which is very Pandaren. The various Mogu themed sets which are a big part of Pandaren history, and other sets I can’t quite think of at the time.
I’m not defending anyone from anything, I’m just saying there is already a number of armor sets that are already heavily themed towards Pandarian culture.
man i hope they dont mess it up. The dark iron set is horrid. The core dwarf set is top notch. Seems they can go to either extreme on stuff like this.
You dont need to be a “defender” to see this…
My Monk currently wears a set from Remix but I agree with the first reply it should be faction specific too that screams “Yes I am a Huojin and proud of it.”
So you agree that humans and orcs did not need heritage armor since they had so many armor sets already right?

Thats fine, but they have enough already. I’d rather no more time be wasted on them.
Blizzard gave every race a heritage set even Earthen and the other allied races. Would be quite unfair not to put in the Pandas too.

They looked like they just fit the culture to me… there were armor/class limitations but they had a “far east” feel to them.

That’s an unfair comparison. Earthen are an allied race, and those have always gotten heritage armor by default as a reward for reaching max level.
Core races need a whole quest chain.
Earthen also got those civilian/citizen sets depending on your class. That should be the general way to go for any future new thing if you ask me.
